Alfie is a sweet little Chihuahua/Corgi mix. He was surrendered by his family because they were moving. He has been in the shelter, but he has found a foster home for now. He would make a great addition to any family.We think he needs to be an only pet though because he likes the attention and he doesn’t like to share. Lol He is not a barker, he does not like to be picked up but he loves to cuddle and he is a sweet, sweet boy. He loves his food. We can connect you with the foster that has him and they will tell you all about him. He is in a foster home with other senior dogs and special needs dogs and he is doing wonderful. He cuddles with the husband and wife goes outside to the potty in her fenced in yard When inquiring about him please complete our application so we can give you more info on him. Thank you. he also has became close with one of the other little dogs so you might want to adopt two his sidekick but not necessary like I said we will connect you with the foster and she will tell you all about them. Hi everyone my name is Jasper and I am about to turn 9 years old and I am a Corgi and pug mix boy that is 24 lbs and my 91 yr old Dad just went into assisted living.   His family is not able to take me and let me live out the rest of my life with them so they have asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to find a foster for me. I'm lucky because lots of people ask them every hour of the day to get a new place for their dog. I'm a good boy but I really don't want to live with another dog. You can see from my pictures I'm quite playful and I have a great smile. I am housebroken and I really don't need a crate because I'm a good boy when loose in the house and I'm minding my P's and Q's when you're gone. I've got lots of great healthy years ahead of me. I'm looking for someone special to spend them with. I need someone that loves a good strong playful medium sized dog that does everything right in life. Because my original Dad never took me out with other dogs much, I am mostly defensive when I am confronted with other dogs on a walk.  They scare me honestly.   I just need to be in a home with no other dog so I can feel safe and secure.  Hard to teach an older dog like me new tricks. But I know someone will just want only ME to be their one and only, so I'm looking for happy people because I'm happy boy. I've got a great outgoing personality and I can help you make more friends if you just take me for walks and let me work my cuteness factor and charm.  I'm neutered, I'm totally vetted and healthy and I'm microchipped. I'm also very ready to spend the holidays with you as my new best friends and forever family .
