Story
Meet Bolt, the cutest 2-year-old Corgi mix who is so ready to be your short-legged bestie. Bolt is a sweet boy who was rescued from Screven, Georgia. He weighs 24 pounds and has the classic tan and white Corgi coloring with the most perfect pointy ears, pink tongue, and white “socks” on his feet.
Bolt is a sweetheart who loves to be close to his humans. In your lap, beside your lap, following you around when you’re on the move, he just likes to be near. He adores scratches on the head and belly rubs, which we are all to happy to oblige. Bolt is a people dog and would love a family where he can be around others often. He’d do great in a home with kids who can give him all the affection and attention he deserves. He’d be the perfect family dog. He is working hard on perfecting his leash training and listens well to commands, especially when told to sit.
Bolt is a playful guy who enjoys romping around the yard and finding the best stick. He prefers humans to other dogs and cats, so being in a household without other pets is ideal for him. Bolt is such a loving guy who truly enjoys cuddles and giving you all his love. What are you waiting for? Time to take off with a jolt and come meet Bolt! ⚡️
Bolt is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.
Given the conditions Bolt originated from, upon rescue, he tested positive for Heartworm disease. Thanks to Home for Good Dog Rescue, Bolt has completed his Heartworm treatment.
*Heartworm disease is a serious and if left untreated, fatal disease. It is caused by foot-long worms (heartworms) that live in the heart, lungs, and associated blood vessels of affected animals, causing severe lung disease, heart failure, and damage to other organs in the body. Mosquitoes are carriers of heartworms and have the ability to infect dogs all year round, especially in the Southeastern portion of the United States and during the summer months.*
