Story
Name: Coco Breed: Korean street dog (Guessed to be Jindu/Corgi) Weight: 27 pounds Gender: Female Spayed/neutered: Spayed Age: approx 8.5 years old Obtained From: Leader of the Pack Dog Rescue in 2018.  Korean street dog. Reason for Intake: Coco is afraid of the 18 month old child in the home and is growling and snarling at them. Up to Date with Vetting: Yes Good with dogs: She has lived with an older Golden retriever and a young, male, Lab.  She was fine with them and is better with calm dogs who don't get into her face and space. Good with cats: She lives with cats, however, the cats live on a different level of the home and they really don't interact.  She has had skirmishes with the cats and been found with fur in her mouth.   Good with kids: Not comfortable with toddlers or young children.  She has lived with children 10 years and older and been fine with them as long as they went slow with her and respected her boundaries. Good with strangers: Nervous with new people.  If a stranger comes to the door she will bark and her hackles will go up.  She is curious and will approach them most of the time but she doesn't enjoy being touched by strangers.  She is OK with them moving around in the home but will avoid them and go and lay out of the way.  More uncomfortable with men and people wearing hats. Resource guarding issues: She does not guard anything from the people in the home.  She has guarded her food bowl, treats, and toys from the dogs in the home. Ever bitten a human: No Ever bitten a dog: No Fears: Strangers, being handled, toddlers, car rides, busy streets.  Described as fearful in general. Housetrained: Yes Crate trained: They have not crated her.  She did travel here from Korea in a crate. Good in the car: She is anxious in the car.  She is terrified of car washes. Bark when left alone: No.  They are currently working from home but in the past she has been left alone while they worked full-time outside the home. Destructive: No Energy Level: Medium Leash skills: She walks well on leash but is reactive to other dogs on walks and will bark/growl/lunge at them.  She is afraid to walk on busy streets. Okay with physical handling/manipulations: In general she is uncomfortable with being handled.  They can bathe her but she does not enjoy it.  She is OK with them brushing her back but has snapped at them when they have tried to brush her longer fur.  She is professionally groomed but the groomer is careful and goes slow with her.  She has seen a mobile vet at home and a vet at a clinic.  She is fearful but they have been able to give her care. Known commands: sit, down, speak Food on now: Bold by Nature raw patties.  Chicken, beef, turkey, pork or duck. Behavioural issues: Fearful in general.  Afraid of the 18 month old child in the home and is growling/snarling at them.  Uncomfortable being handled and needs someone who is careful and goes slow.  Reactive to dogs while on leash and afraid to walk on busier streets.  Anxious in the car. Medical issues: None November 7, 2024, 8:53 am

Story
Dear Future Family, My name is Chess, and I’m searching for my forever home! Let me share a little about myself. I was rescued just in time, right before being euthanized, after spending my days as a stray in the countryside. Despite my tough past, I’ve never let it take away my love for people. I’m incredibly friendly and can’t resist a good belly rub—I’ll even roll over for you once we get to know each other! I’m also happy to accept treats from anyone kind enough to offer. I’m a sociable and affectionate dog who loves being around people, even strangers. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, especially those my size, and I’m calm and neutral around bigger dogs. I have no issues sharing treats and don’t guard resources, making me a peaceful and easygoing companion. When tensions arise, I prefer to avoid conflict altogether. I’m also proud to say that I’m a quiet girl—I haven’t barked at all so far. When it comes to walks, I’m an excellent companion. I stay close to my human and don’t pull on the leash, making walks an enjoyable experience for both of us. I also think I’d get along great with children, which means I could be the perfect addition to a family. I’m ready to open my heart to someone who will love me just as much as I’ll love them. Could that someone be you? I can’t wait to meet my forever family and share all the joy I have to offer. With love and a wagging tail, Chess 🐾💕

Story
🐾 Hey there! I’m Elder! 🐾 I’m a 1-year-old male Jindo/Corgi mix with a lovely white coat. Weighing just 8 kg, I’m a small bundle of joy looking for my forever home! 🐶 My Story: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time, and now I’m ready to find a loving family. I’ve been learning a lot at a training center, especially about walking on a leash. 🚶‍♂️ My Personality: • I’m super affectionate and love to rub against people, whether I know them or not. I enjoy being touched and petted. 🤗 • I haven’t met children under 13 yet, but I’m open to making new friends! 🧒 • You can lift me up by putting your arm under my belly. I don’t mind at all! 🐾 • I’ll show you my belly for some rubs, even if we just met! 🥰 • I like to greet other dogs, but I don’t always play with them. 🐕 • I’m a bit scared of dogs that are bigger than me, but I’m friendly with dogs my size or smaller. 🐾 • High-energy dogs can be a bit overwhelming for me. 🐕‍🦺 • I might fight back if provoked, especially when toys or snacks are involved, so it’s best to introduce me to new dogs slowly. 🐶 • I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react. 🐱 • I enjoy outdoor activities but also love to rest quietly afterward. 🌳 • I’m still getting used to walking, so I might lie flat or panic if I’m scared. Please be patient with me. 🐾 • I don’t guard my food and I’m calm in a kennel. 🥣 • I’m a quiet boy and hardly ever bark. 🐾 • I’m potty trained and use both indoor pads and go outside for my bathroom needs. 🚽 Fun Fact: I’m good with strangers and even let them hug and lift me up. You can pet me while I’m eating snacks or playing with my favorite toy. 🦴 If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and friendly companion, I’m your guy! Let’s make some wonderful memories together. 🏡❤️ Love, Elder 🐾💙 For more videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxT93NPRfe9o_TBYrZKLB_6
