Story
Dave is a lovely 3-yr old Corgi. He loves his walks and can be very active. He requires physical and mental stimulation but also can entertain himself and nap in his bed. Dave is very sweet, affectionate and loves to hang out with his human and will ask for pets and belly rubs. He is housetrained and can be left alone uncrated, with no barking or destructive behaviour. Dave loves to greet all dogs and humans. He is very curious and wants to be friends with everyone. He doesn’t always “read the room” when other dogs are reactive and tell him "go away" he might continue his friendship request He only barks when he hears people outside so he would probably do best in a house.  Dave can be skittish and sensitive to loud noises and moves very fast when he is scared. He can also get “mouthy” when excited. He gets underfoot and will sometimes nip at your feet and can be a tripping hazard. As a herding breed this is done out of playfulness and instinct, not aggression.  He is a smart little dog and will benefit from some basic training. He will come when called but cannot be left in an unfenced area off leash as he is easily spooked and will be a flight risk. Dave would benefit from living with more than one person and/or with another dog who would be a play companion.  While he has met children and seems to love them, he does jump up to meet them, therefore he would do best in a home with older children.December 14, 2025, 8:40 am

Story
Meet Ari Current Location : S. KOREA 📌 Breed: Welsh Corgi 📌 Age: Estimated 3 years old 📌 Sex: Female 📌 Weight: 13 kg 📌 Spayed/Neutered: Yes, spayed 💛 Temperament Ari gets along well with both men and women, though she seems to feel a bit more comfortable with female caregivers. She loves every human she meets on walks and eagerly rolls over for belly rubs. She has never shown any aggression and has only displayed a sweet, gentle nature. 👶 Good with Children? Yes. She happily greets all people, including kids, and immediately shows her belly. 🐶 Good with Other Dogs? Ari mostly ignores other dogs. Even when another dog comes up to sniff her, she acts as if nothing is happening and simply minds her own business. 🐱 Good with Cats? She has never met a cat yet. 🍖 Food Motivation She LOVES food. She finishes her meals instantly and enjoys treats as well. ⚡ Energy Level Ari has a low activity level. She prefers short walks—after about 15 minutes she tends to stop walking, likely because she is currently a bit overweight. 🦮 Leash Trained? Yes. 🏡 Crate/Kennel Trained? She has not been formally crate trained, but she loves having her own space. If you lay out a blanket, she chooses that spot to rest. 🚻 House-Trained? Yes. She uses indoor pee pads but also does her business well during walks. 🗣 Barking She rarely barks. She may bark briefly out of excitement when someone comes home, but otherwise she is very quiet. 🏃‍♀️ Escape Risk Yes — Ari is a little bit scary. She may run and hide suddenly when she feels startled, even inside the house. Extra caution is needed during the adjustment period. 🤗 Handling She absolutely loves being touched and will expose her belly all day for pets. No issues with handling any part of her body. 🧸 Destructive Behavior In the beginning, she chewed a computer cable, so everything is now covered. She has also torn a pee pad twice. Other than that, she hasn’t caused trouble. She’s still learning how to play with plush toys, so she plays only in short sessions. 🎁 Resource Guarding No signs of guarding food or toys. 🩺 Health Issues None at this time. 🐾 Rescue Story Ari was rescued from a breeding facility. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate, but also sometimes frightened due to her past. With patience, love, and a calm environment, she will blossom into a wonderful companion.

Story
Meet Mochi (2 yrs, Neutered Male)   Breed: Welsh Corgi Mix Color: Brown / White Weight: 15 kg Height: 29 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story Mochi was rescued from a city shelter where he was scheduled for euthanasia. He is now safe and ready for his second chance at a loving home.     ‍ Human Socialization Mochi is extremely affectionate and social. He approaches both familiar people and strangers with confidence, leans in for attention, and even happily jumps into the arms of people he meets on walks.   He is comfortable with both men and women. He has not been tested with young children under 13, but he allows being lifted and will show his belly once he trusts you.     Dog Socialization Mochi greets both known and unfamiliar dogs politely and confidently. He’s more into chasing and exploring than group play, and he often prefers doing his own thing — sniffing, running around, or checking out the environment.   He gets along best with medium or larger dogs, or those similar in size to him.   Cats When encountering outdoor cats, he showed little reaction. A formal cat test can be arranged.   Energy Level As a Welsh Corgi mix, he has a naturally active personality. He loves running, exploring, and seeking human attention. As long as his energy needs and desire for engagement are understood, he is easy to manage.   Walks He pulls on the leash at times, but overall follows his handler well. He is confident even on busy streets and enjoys walks in all environments.   Other Behaviors • No resource guarding toward people or dogs • Food motivated, so mealtime supervision is helpful • Not separation-anxious, but dislikes confinement and may bark when restricted • In a kennel, he mostly whines • Currently uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty Apply to Foster or Adopt at www.adoptmekr.org Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. Story
🐾 Hello, I’m Bombom — a gentle boy ready for a brand-new beginning. I’m a Welsh Corgi–Spitz mix boy, about 7.2kg, with a small but sturdy body and soft white fur that everyone notices right away. People say I have a cozy, comforting look — the kind that makes you want to smile when you see me. In February 2024, I was rescued from a place where dogs were being slaughtered. Three of us were saved that day… and I am one of the lucky ones. Because of where I came from, people worried I might be afraid of humans. But surprisingly, I’m not. I love people — truly. If you call my name, I’ll trot over with my tail wagging, hoping for affection. I enjoy attention and I have a sweet, gentle heart that just wants to be loved. I get along naturally with other dogs and have a calm, easygoing social nature. I’m also great on walks — steady, relaxed, and lovely to walk beside. Being outdoors with someone I trust feels peaceful and happy. I’m more than ready to be cared for, cherished, and loved. Now, I’m waiting for a forever family who can give me a safe, warm place to spend the rest of my life. Please give a new beginning to a soft-hearted boy like me — a boy with fur as white and gentle as his heart. 🤍🌿 With love, Bombom 🐶

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Paris Age: 6 months (Born on June 15, 2025) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Corgi–Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 6kg / 13 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was on the euthanasia list at the Miryang City Shelter. I had parvovirus, and while the other puppies sadly didn’t make it, I somehow survived. Even though the odds were against me, I fought through the illness and was rescued just in time. Now I’m safe, healthy, and ready for a fresh start.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues     MY PERSONALITY Hi! I am Paris. I’m a gentle little pup with a lower energy level than most puppies. I’m a bit shy at first, but I’m naturally sweet and quickly adapt to new people. I’m just starting to learn how to go on walks, and I’ve never shown any aggression toward other dogs. I’m perfect for a family looking for a calm and kind companion.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but I’ll take treats from your hand and warm up quickly, and I allow gentle petting. I have no experience meeting children under 13. I can be lifted by placing an arm under my belly. · With Dogs: I approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but I don’t play with them. · With Cats: I have not been observed around cats, so my reactions to them are unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a normal energy level and enjoy outdoor activities, but I settle down calmly once I’m back inside. I don’t have much walking experience, so when something scary appears, I flatten myself to the ground.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs. I rarely bark. I stay calm and quiet when I’m placed in a kennel. I use both indoor pee pads and outdoor spaces for potty breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME My ideal home is calm and loving, where I can feel safe and take my time to adjust. I would thrive in a family who gives gentle attention, offers treats and cuddles, and lets me explore at my own pace. I’d do best in a quiet environment without too much chaos, with people who understand I’m a little shy at first.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a very cute and beautiful pup. I love my treats, have a calm and steady energy, and I’m good at sitting and staying focused. I’m a Level 2 Rescue Dog, which means I’m a little shy and need some time and support to adjust to new environments.   Paris' YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2604816##
