Look no further than Bogart (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I came from a hoarding situation where there was about 20 of us stuck inside this house. Because of having to fight for lovins and food I would probably do best in a quieter home. I can be more dominant and would do best as your one and only or with a more submissive smaller dog. I like to play with them and have a grand ole time getting a good game of chase going on. I will need a slower acquisition period with a 4legged playmate. I am so super loving with my people, coming up with smiles (yes, I have that corgi smile!) and tail wags. I is a sweet, adorable pup of around 3 years old and 12lbs that has that cuteness overload that will win over your heart with my charming and sometimes silly personality. I would make a great companion for a retired person or someone that works from home. I is ready to start this next chapter in life with lots of puppy kisses, tail wags and cuddles with my new family!! And I do give the sweetest lil kisses!! I do great with people and even do well with the smaller versions. I did get the chance to meet one of those creatures y'all call a cat and I'll be honest...I didn't know what to think!! I still not quite sure what to think but she didn't run from me and even let me get in a few sniffs. She seems to be A-Okay and most of the time I don't really pay her any never no minds! I am crate trained and I'm working on my housetraining and doing fairly well with it. I'm let out often and it didn't take me long to know to do my business outside and haven't had an accident in a while. I will need some guidance in leash training as I've never had the pleasure of going for a leash walk. :( But I think with a little patience I'll really enjoy them! I sleep all night long and my favoritest spot is...you guessed it, right beside you in bed!! Porter is a 7yr old neutered male Corgi/ Beagle mix. He weighs about 30 lbs. Porter was picked up as a stray by our local dog warden. He was found to have a microchip. His previous owners claimed they had given him away and they no longer wanted him. Porter is a little confused but is adjusting to rescue life the best he can. He just wants to have a family and to be loved. He has moderate energy and a nice temperament. He has been a good boy here at the rescue and know that his forever family is out there for him. He would do best with a fenced yard. He appears to be house trained. . He is great with children and other dogs. He has not been cat tested. He is up to date on shots and wormed. Ivy is going on 3 years old and is a ball of energy. She is a good dog but struggles with sharing territory with other dogs. She loves to play fetch and go on walks. She is trained in basic commands (sit, down, place) and is a pretty good walker. She struggles with nail trimming so walks are essential for her. She does baths very well. Her issues stem from what appears to be anxiety and she is on fluoxetine for that. She struggles with new people sometimes but a little patience and a treat or two wins her over pretty quick. She loves to shred cardboard, especially toilet paper rolls.

Luka is about 10 years old and has a lot of love and energy to give. As shes getting older, shes losing her vision and hearing and is becoming incontinent. shes been in the family since she was 4, first my mothers dog and then we took her for my son. She is the sweetest dog: protective, energetic and fun, mild tempered and calm, and extremely affectionate. Weve had so very many changes in the last year including my pregnancy and a new baby boy. It has been too much of a challenge to keep Luka and maintain her needs. She also has special dietary needs. She has to be put outside constantly and has little bladder control left. Weve tried many things and have not been able to find resolutions - it is unfair to Luka and so difficult for us to keep up with her needs and daily clean ups. We cant tend to her as frequently, and have to admit she needs to be somewhere with someone who has the time and ability to care for her as she ages further.
