There is no medicine or daily care that he will need. This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. He looks like a Corgi Mix and he is long haired, I just do not know. He is 4 years old and weighs 22 pounds. DANNY loves to hang out with me and lay on me and he growls or moans while he is doing it, I guess it is pleasing to him. He was rescued from a not so good situation. He was with his deceased owner for 2 weeks before relatives showed up and found them together. The relatives put him in the yard and just forgot about him, never coming back to make sure he was okay or anything. The neighbors fed and watered him another week until the relatives relinquished him. The neighbors brought him to me and he has been settling in. He gets along with the other dogs but really has no interest in playing with any of them, he just wants to hang out with me. Follows me all over the house. He does play with toys and loves his chew bones. He can be trusted in the home while and I am gone on errands and he is potty trained. He puts himself in the crate sometimes to get away from the other dogs but he does not like me to lock him in. He rides in the car well and walks on the leash without pulling. They estimate her to be exactly 1 year old and she weighs 25 pounds. MADDIE is a very good girl who is pleasant to be around and low maintenance on a daily basis. She gets along with all of the dogs in the foster home and plays with most of them. She is so easy-going and nice. I figure she came from a home with kids in it because when she was found she had a pink marker drawing on her head, only a kid would do that. Sadly, MADDIE was abandoned in a local PetSmart here in San Antonio, TX. A lady pretending to be showing brought her in and just left her in the store to roam around. She is 2 years old and 25 pounds, a Corgi/Terrier/Shepherd Mix. She does not have short legs like a Corgi, she is just short in statue. NAOMI came to me after being found in an apartment with her deceased owner. I was told that she was so happy to finally see someone. And I can believe it because she is just happy all the time. She has that submissive act where she immediately turns over on her back to get belly rubs and she follows me all over the house. NAOMI gets along with all of my dogs, walks great on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. She is crate trained and house trained. She would make a wonderful companion. Someone adopt this beefcake before I can’t let her go 😂 Summer is a pitty/bassett sort of mix with the body of a beauty queen..low and stocky. She is hilarious! She LOVES squeak toys and will pretend to be a retriever mix if it means she can chase a squeaker. She makes the perfect couch potato wherever and whenever you want her to be but also has a great time in the yard going on full on sprints. Summer does fine with other dogs, but is possessive over food and treats like bones, etc. She would be the perfect only dog or would do fine in a house with another dog where you can keep feeding separate. Summer would do best in a home without small animals and cats that she might view as another squeak toy! 😳 If you want a dog that is going to be your best friend, best cuddle buddy, who is happy to play with you anytime but also equally happy to go lay down and let you have space, then Summer is your girl!
