He did really well in foster and appears to be housebroken.  He is a smart young boy who would do well with an active family.  He loves to run around, so a fenced in yard would be best for him.  Princeton  would prefer to be the only dog in the home and no young children. Story
Gary is a Gorgy mix, estimated 6-year-old neutered dog who was rescued on July 1, 2024, from a high-traffic area in Caguas, PR. Gary is vaccinated, on preventives, and tested 4dx negative. He has shown himself to be friendly with both people and other dogs. He enjoys morning walks, eats well alongside other dogs, sleeps well, and travels comfortably in his kennel. Gary is very active and mostly does his business outside. He would thrive in an active family that can provide him with regular playtime and walks, ideally one or two times a day. Gary would be a great pet for a family that loves adventure and outdoor activities.

Story
Young 2 yr. old Corgi, found abandoned...Smores is a special case: To make things a little easier we will put our pups in categories ... such as, We have dogs who need experienced homes, meaning the home has no kids, and a lot of structure:..Smores is one of the.  Some dogs can get away with being treated like a kid but some dogs need to be treated like a dog. This by no means means , living outside, or not giving love and attention to them. It means not being babied but we, instead, need to be a good leader and have rules for them. To avoid any issues, you must manage the situation. We do this with teenaged kids all the time.... for example, you don't leave your car keys just anywhere so your teen doesn't try to take the keys and go for joy rides in your car without permission. Training starts from day one, teaching your new dog what you expect from them: Also teach with positive reinforcement. If a dog guards, start with feeding him from your hand. Teach him to give up a toy for something more exciting, a small piece of cheese or a cookie. Management is a part of every day life., NO kids, experienced ( meaning has worked with a dog that had issues in the past), and he loves dog friends so a dog or 2 In the home is needed. Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application  Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you! ##2161840##

Story
Bailey is a 3 year old mix pup ringing in at 20lbs of muscle! This active boy is no stranger to NYC - his journey to finding his perfect family has been full of ups and downs but he hasn’t let that damper his mood. Originally an owner surrender at Queens ACC, Bailey was pulled from the at risk list and has adjusted incredibly well with his foster family.Though he currently has dog and cat roommates, he’d do best in an only pet home without tiny humans. Bailey wants to be your best friend and aims to please. He’s down for a run through the park, a stroll around the neighborhood, or a cuddle in your lap. He has a super fun play drive and absolutely adores food so training with Bailey is easy breezy.Though he’s all about fun, Bailey is still learning the ropes with touch in certain areas. An ideal adopter will be dedicated to learning alongside him and giving him proper time to decompress in a new home. As a local rescue, Bailey's training is fully sponsored. His adoption fee is $300.   Come meet our adoptable dogs at this weekend’s Korean K9 Rescue events! Story
Meet Lucas! Lucas is a 1-year, 4-month-old Jindo/Corgi mix with a sleek black coat, soft white markings, and gentle, expressive eyes. Weighing 6.6 kg (about 14.5 lbs), he’s a compact companion with a quiet, calm nature. Though a little shy at first, Lucas is learning to trust and open up. Story
I'm Tiger, I'm sweet, I'm handsome & I'm in Connecticut! Ready to meet you!! Howdy Doody, my name is Tiger, and even though I look like a tough little guy, that's not my personality. I’m a total sweetheart, gentle and kind to all. The vet thinks I’m a Corgi/Chihuahua mix, built like a little tank, about 2.5 years old, only 26.6 lbs, and I was found with my doggy friend Meatball wandering around a neighborhood, being fed for days by a nice family who eventually reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue. My foster mom says I'm awesome. Sweet and friendly with everyone: dogs, cats, kids, and strangers, and I’m a gentleman at playtime. I’m not into doggy toys, but I’m into doggy walks and being cuddled, and not necessarily in that order. I sit calmly for my leash, walk nicely, and behave nicely. I’m not a fan of doggy conflict, so when the other dogs are playing too rough or causing a ruckus, I politely excuse myself and find something else to do. I love wholeheartedly and bond deeply with my family, but I don't freak out when my foster mom leaves the house. I’m just a big baby, cuddly and loveable, grateful and well-behaved. I never bark, I’m about 90% housebroken, no chewing or digging or guarding my food. I love car rides and outings, making new friends, and snuggling beside you while watching TV. Yep, I’m a total keeper. Forever dog material. Happy and adorable and ready to find a family of my own. I just moved to Connecticut, so inquire about me today and bring me home! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
