Story
Adopt Bella🎀 Bella, our corgi-pit mix is still on the market for her forever family🏠 Since having Bella in the rescue we've learned a lot about her. She's a total love bug, she enjoys walks and then naps immediately after, and she's obedient and learns quickly. 📝 At about five years old Bella is house trained, UTD on her shots and would make a wonderful addition to a family. Bella, with her unique body and fun personality, would need to be your one and only but we know that she is all you'll need. Did we mention she's a pint sized princess, perfect for an apartment or small space?❤️ When Bella is excited she hops around like an adorable little chocolate Easter bunny with her little legs that get lost among tall grass. 🐰 She has a medium energy level and would be best with kids 8 and up, people who are home often would be her dream family. She will do best as the only pet. If you are interested in this small princess then get your application in. Apply at pittiesandpals.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ada! We are unsure what her mix is, but she appears to have Corgi in her. Ada comes from an overcrowded shelter down south. She was originally adopted as a puppy, and now that she's sadly had her own litter her family dumped her, as she was no longer useful to them. She weighs in at about 20 lbs. and walks well on a leash. She does not like her kennel so she acts like a tough girl here at the shelter. Once she knows you,she becomes a wiggle butt! She can be shy with new people, but once she warms up to you, she is yours forever! She is so affectionate and she just LOVES to play! Ada would like to be the love of your life, and the only four-legged family member at home. She has been spayed and is now ready to meet her forever family! If you are interested in meeting Ada and/or our other adoptable pets, please complete an application at save.rescuegroups.org/forms/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 22, 2024, 1:46 pm

Story
Nora has been a loving and beloved member of our family for 3.5 years, but she has also been a tremendous challenge. We've made tons of progress but have come to realize that long-term, she will be happier in a bigger, quieter home. Already anxious by the time she was rescued, she suffered brain damage due to blood loss when her spay went wrong in Jan 2021. (She's since been spayed properly.) There's too little space here to convey the scope of her issues, so suffice to say that Nora needs a home with space, quiet, and lots of patience from her owners. Loves: - Running in open areas. - Playing with other dogs she knows. - Dancing on her hind legs for a treat. Non-starters: - Homes in densely populated areas/ shared walls. - Kids under 12, or anyone who can't respect a boundary when she asserts one. - Inexperienced dog owners She is both deeply, enthusiastically loving, and a tough case. More details available on request.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Wheezy, a 16-pound Corgi mix was surrendered to the shelter when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. At 8 years old the shelter must be quite a scary place. Wheezy was very happy to get out of the shelter with us and simply cuddled up for a nice ride home.   Wheezy is good with both dogs and cats. She is well-behaved in the home and can be left home without being destructive. The best news of all, she is housebroken. She is a great girl who is looking for a second chance with a family of her own. Wheezy has recently been diagnosed with Cushing disease which is being treated with daily medication. She is doing great with it and will make a wonderful pet for a lucky family. See Wheezy's Photo Album here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.939472228183262&type=3 If interested please fill out an adoption application online at njshpetrescue.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 1, 2024, 9:01 pm
