Story
Erin will be adopted in the Greater St. Louis Area or the Greater Kansas City Area. We do not adopt to homes with small children. A fenced yard is required. No exceptions. Erin will need a calm experienced home. I’m Erin and I’m 5 years old. We don’t really know what my situation was before I was rescued, but my life is so much better now. I’m very timid until I know no one will hurt me. Be patient and I will become your best friend. Loud noises scare me so no yelling please. Men can be scary but if they talk quietly to me and let me come to them, they can be my friend. I haven’t been around small children. I love going on walks and I’m starting to figure out how much fun toys are. I get the zoomies and will race around for a few minutes then quiet down. I’m good friends with my foster cat brother. I am probably too energetic for small kittens or other small furry critters. My foster mom calls me a silly girl, but I’m just so excited to go for a walk that my whole body wiggles. I’m the true example of a wiggle butt. I’m still working on walking calmly. Sometimes I pull and try to wander from side to side because everything is interesting. I’m working on being friends with bigger dogs. If I can take my time getting to know the bigger dog, I will be ok being near them without getting upset. I’m crate trained and after a minute of barking, I’ll quiet down when I’m left alone. We believe that Erin is a Corgi/Cattle Dog mix. Looking for the coolest pup on the block? Then look no further than handsome and social boy Ozzy. This two -year old corgi/cattle dog mix is a fun and energetic guy who attracts attention wherever he goes. Ozzy would do well with an active family who will take him on adventures so he can explore everything life has to offer. Ozzy really wants to please his people and is working on learning some manners such as not pulling on the leash during walks. He enjoys getting to play with other dogs and would do well in a home with another active canine. His potty skills are pretty on point as he does well with letting the humans know when nature is calling. Ozzy would do well in a wide variety of homes but would very much love to have a family who appreciates his affectionate and enthusiastic nature and he secretly hopes that his new family will allow him to sleep in the big bed with his people. Ozzy is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Ozzy’s adoption fee is $350.00. Meet Squishy! He is a very sweet 3 year old corgi/border collie cross. He is super friendly with people and has never met a stranger. He LOVES to play, especially fetch. Loves to learn new things. He knows basic commands,housebroken, crate trained. He sleeps on the bedroom floor and during the day he free roams the house. Does ok with children as long as there are no other dogs around. If there are other dogs around he has a severe resource guarding issue with food and people. He will need to be an only dog. He does ok at the boarder. He is completely up to date on all shots, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention. Microchipped. He is the sweetest boy but he does not get along with our other dog and it's creating an unsafe environment for my small children. Keeping the dogs separated is not fair to fair to anyone.

I do great with people both tall and small. I get on great with other pups and although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age if introduced properly I should do fine with them too! I have a beautiful white coat that is super soft, made just for running your fingers thru as you're giving me lots of pets, ear scratches and belly rubs!! Win win for all of us! Mom is a short stubby legged gal that looks like maybe a Cattledog/Corgi mix and dad was a traveling salespup sweet talking his way thru town. I take after my mom with my shorter lil legs and long body.
