Story
Please read ALL of the information below including the last paragraph. Also, please visit our web site at www.petssecondchance.org. Must have a securly fenced yard. No electronic fences. No children under the age of 20 years. Eve would do best in a home with another friendly dog. Eve would like to grace you with her presence. She confidently holds her head up high to let you know how awesome she is. She is not wrong. Eve is an awesome little dog with lots of happiness to share. Eve loves toys and squeaks them until they do not squeak any longer. It isn’t just her toys that squeak. When it is meal time, Eve will squeak with delight in anticipation of her bowl of yummy food being served to her. Eve is great with other dogs and would enjoy sharing a home with another friendly playful dog. She is a very playful puppy who would love to live with you. Eve is house trained, or close. She is crate trained and chipped. She is spayed. A fenced yard is required. We do not adopt to homes with electronic fences. No exceptions. Eve needs a home with another friendly high energy playful dog. No young children. We only adopt in the Greater St. Louis area. Please email claireelizabeth@petssecondchance.org for more information.

Story
Erin will be adopted in the Greater St. Louis Area or the Greater Kansas City Area. We do not adopt to homes with small children. A fenced yard is required. No exceptions. Erin will need a calm experienced home. I’m Erin and I’m 5 years old. We don’t really know what my situation was before I was rescued, but my life is so much better now. I’m very timid until I know no one will hurt me. Be patient and I will become your best friend. Loud noises scare me so no yelling please. Men can be scary but if they talk quietly to me and let me come to them, they can be my friend. I haven’t been around small children. I love going on walks and I’m starting to figure out how much fun toys are. I get the zoomies and will race around for a few minutes then quiet down. I’m good friends with my foster cat brother. I am probably too energetic for small kittens or other small furry critters. My foster mom calls me a silly girl, but I’m just so excited to go for a walk that my whole body wiggles. I’m the true example of a wiggle butt. I’m still working on walking calmly. Sometimes I pull and try to wander from side to side because everything is interesting. I’m working on being friends with bigger dogs. If I can take my time getting to know the bigger dog, I will be ok being near them without getting upset. I’m crate trained and after a minute of barking, I’ll quiet down when I’m left alone. We believe that Erin is a Corgi/Cattle Dog mix. Please email claireelizabeth@petssecondchance.org for more information.

Story
Poor Bennie. He has been adopted out twice now....neither return his fault, just life circumstances. He is now a senior seeking a quiet loving home for the rest of his life. Are you the one?   Well Mr. Benny was adopted from us three years ago as a three month old baby pup. We have had him since shortly after his birth and he was such a good boy and still is at just three years old. He likes kids (over the toddler stage), adults and most other dogs. All he wants is a family forever for Christmas! Help us make his wish come true! How could anyone resist that smile!? ##130742##

Story
Finn is a sweet playful red/orange & white Cardigan Corgi puppy who has small bouts of energy and naps on fuzzy blankets & pillows the rest of the day like he’s the Queen’s corgi. We have an 8 year old & Finn adores her and naps with her often. We have many young kinds in and out of the house and Finn has been sweet with all of them. He plays with other dogs at the dog park even those who are 3x his size very well. I’d say he’s about 80% potty trained, poops and pees outside and has poop accidents in the home a few times a week but never in his kennel. He will be 12 months on January 28th! His shots are all up to date and is neutered. Unfortunately, our older dog doesn’t care for his energy and honestly, we haven’t been able to give Finn the energy and time he deserves because our older dog is low maintenance and doesn’t require as much as a puppy while we are a dual working family. We want to find a kind home for Finn with a new family to love him like he will love them.
