Story
To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: 2.5 years (as of 11/4/24) Weight: 27.2 lbs (as of 11/4/24) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Jessie, a young soul full of life. We are thinking gentle Jessie is a Corgi and Dachshund mix. Jessie loves to play with other dogs, but we don’t yet know how she is with cats and kids. Her spirit is infectious, bringing a smile to anyone who encounters her. Her intelligence is awe-inspiring, always eager to learn new tricks and commands. Jessie would love to join you in basic group training classes where she can socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! She was found as a stray, her past unknown, but her future is full of potential. Jessie's personality is a testament to her resilience and ability to love despite her circumstances. Why adopt Jessie? She's not just a dog, she's a companion, a friend, a confidante. She's a beacon of joy and a testament to unconditional love. With Jessie, every day is an adventure and every moment a memory. Adopt Jessie and let her fill your life with love, laughter, and a whole lot of play. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.November 11, 2024, 10:19 am

Story
Hi everyone my name is Jasper and I am about to turn 9 years old and I am a Corgi and pug mix boy that is 24 lb and my 90 yr old  Dad is going into assisted living.   His family is not able to take me and let me live out the rest of my life with them so they have asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to find a foster for me and I have a really good one. I'm lucky because lots of people ask them every hour of the day to get a new place for their dog. I'm a good boy and I really like medium to small dogs best because big dogs kind of intimidate me. I haven't been around cats either so that is a BIG question mark. You can see from my pictures I'm quite playful and I have a great smile. I am a housebroken and I really don't need a crate because I'm a good boy when loose in the house and I'm minding my P's and Q's when you're gone. I've got lots of great healthy years ahead of me. I'm looking for someone special to spin them with. Someone that loves a good strong playful medium sized dog that does everything right in life. Because my original Dad never took me out with other dogs much, I am mostly defensive when I am confronted with other dogs.  They scare me honestly.   I just need to be in a home with no other dog so I can feel safe and secure.  Hard to teach an older dog like me new tricks. But I know someone will just want only ME to be their one and only, so I'm looking for happy people because I'm happy boy. I've got a great outgoing personality and I can help you make more friends if you just take me for walks and let me work my cuteness factor and charm.  I'm neutered, I'm totally vetted and healthy and I'm microchipped. I'm also very ready to spend the holidays with you as my new best friends and forever family . Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com If you would like to know more about me and apply to adopt. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 2, 2024, 10:18 pm
