Story
Meet Denton, the sweetest little old man with a heart full of love and a story that will melt yours. Left behind at a boarding facility, Denton was sadly abandoned at 10 years old, but his spirit remains gentle and kind. We think he’s part Corgi, and although his cloudy eyes make him bump into things now and then, his love for life is still bright!   Denton is well-behaved, quiet, and loves nothing more than to snuggle with his humans. He’s working on house training and is making great progress with regular breaks. This senior sweetheart doesn’t ask for much—just a peaceful home, a cozy bed, and a kind hand to guide him through his golden years. Denton does great on gentle walks and enjoys the fresh air, which is perfect for keeping his joints moving. He’s calm around other dogs, could care less about cats, and is simply happy to be by your side.   Denton is looking for a home to fill with warmth and unconditional love. If you'd like to give this sweet soul the love and care he deserves, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast weekly. For more info and FAQs, visit crittercavalry.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Daisy is a sweet dog looking for a home with no other pets. At approximately 6 years old, Daisy is a mix of corgi, dachshund and Italian springer spaniel. She is a good girl who likes to relax, take her daily walk and occasionally plays with a stuffed toy. Did someone say treat? She will be your best buddy if you share it with her. Daisy loves to look out the window and relax on the deck. She has been lovingly cared for following her rescue a few years ago. Unfortunately, having another dog at home has created the occasional conflict and it's best for everyone if Daisy has no other dogs at home. Once Daisy learns the house rules and knows she is loved, she will be a great companion. She is an inside dog who enjoys her creature comforts!

Emma is a very loving dog. She would be a great companion to an individual, couple, or family. She can be shy at first. She is a favorite here at the ranch. She loves to go on walks and roll over on her back for belly rubs. She listens to commands. She gets along with other dogs. Her best friend is Cassidy. She is ideal for either apartment or house living. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Emma can be transported anywhere in the US and Canada. She would be a great addiition to anyone's home. ##1501947##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- KODA IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.  Koda is a very smart Corgi / Shepherd mix. He has lots of energy and will require a fenced yard.  He is on the small side now, but will probably be Shepherd/Husky size when grown. Koda is a very sweet dog and is working on taking food and treats gently. He is a people dog, hence his name meaning 'friend'.  He wants to be near his human all the time! Kota is submissive and loves to play with other dogs and people, but probably would not do well with cats. He is very smart and is learning quickly. Koda will make an excellent addition to an active family. He has a lot of love to give!If you are interested in adopting Koda,  please contact: Lisa Carder at 443-604-6713, email ljjkv@yahoo.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 5:02 pm
