Story
Meet Huck, a 5-year-old male Corgi x Heeler mix seeking his true forever home. Weighing ~35 pounds, Huck is energetic and loves car rides, walks, playing tug, and snuggling with his humans. He’s been through extensive training and is well-behaved on leash, knows commands like sit, down, place, heel, and is kennel-trained. Huck can be vocal, is eager to please, and is food-motivated, making him a quick learner. He is being rehomed because he and the other (larger) dog are not getting along despite extensive efforts. He needs a home where he’s the only dog and he will thrive as the center of attention. He's not suited for homes with cats, chickens, or young kids. Huck is UTD on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and healthy, with minor seasonal allergies. He’ll thrive in a home with a big fenced yard or space to explore. If you want a loyal, active companion, he's your Huckleberry! An application and home check are required to ensure the best fit. Thanks for considering this sweet boy!

Story
Looking for the right home for our 4-year-old Corgi, Cosmo. This is a very difficult decision for our family, but we know it is what is best for him. Cosmo is a smart, loyal, and affectionate dog with a fun personality. He does best with a confident, experienced owner who understands dog behavior and can provide strong leadership. While he’s mostly sweet and loving, he can become reactive when he feels scared or threatened. He has never shown aggression toward my husband or me, but he has reacted fearfully around our children, which is partly why we’ve come to the hard realization that our home is not the best fit for him. We are also about to move and we feel the move across the country will be too stressful for him. We believe Cosmo would thrive in a calm, child-free environment with someone who can give him the structure and understanding he needs. He has so much potential in the right hands and deserves a home where he can feel safe, secure, and loved.
