Meet Toto is our goofy tiny treasure! VIDEO TOO! Hey everyone! Another TINY cutie this week! 4m old Totowho is now up for adoption! Please make sure to read ALL info below BEFORE applying. NO applications accepted by anyone under the age of 25 please (parent or guardian must apply) and you MUST have dog experience. MORE PHOTOS VIDEO COMING! READY next week!! To apply go to https://rnrpets.org/form-dog-application/ - and make sure to give us as much info as possible. DO NOT CALL RESCUE but if you have questions u can TEXT NO CALLS to 9146885499 - please do an application BEFORE texting Meet lil' Toto our rescue fav! She is just a mini doll who can not wait to give u kisses and snuggles. She was given to Rock n' Rescue after her owner walked in and announced he was moving to Boston and had no one to take her - she was def loved and healthy but they didn't want her to go to a shelter and be caged as she was used to his children etc... ! She was given the best of the best care and we vetted her and put her in a wonderful foster where she continues to blossom. Now Toto is ready to be a big girl all on her own - and perfect at a tiny 16 lbs (short short legs and chonky body) - crate trained and seems house trained too!! She is simply kisses love and cuddles! SOOOO SWEET and will be perfect for those looking for this breed mix as is prob going to be a small/medium sized dog and is super trainable at this young age! She is TOO TINY to go outside fully on public dirt as she is still too small to have all the necessary vaccine rounds vs other younger puppies who are older and so she is still susceptible to parvo and distemper. She is great with children, dogs and cats too. Can't be a better fit for most families! Toto is truly special and we are blessed to have her in our rescue and some lucky family is going to ADORE her like we do. Again she will likely grow to be a small medium sized dog - not too small and not too big. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... We do believe she is part Corgi based on her behavior and body type and part who knows what lol - she is pretty much a mix of prob 3 breeds so a true mutt but that makes her all the better - She has had first vaccines but adopters will have to complete final rounds and she has been microchipped and spayed. Minimum donation required. Spay will be in future so foster/adopter must sign contact rescue when ready. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in South Salem NY - no exceptions.

Story
Gary is a Gorgy mix, estimated 6-year-old neutered dog who was rescued on July 1, 2024, from a high-traffic area in Caguas, PR. Gary is vaccinated, on preventives, and tested 4dx negative. He has shown himself to be friendly with both people and other dogs. He enjoys morning walks, eats well alongside other dogs, sleeps well, and travels comfortably in his kennel. Gary is very active and mostly does his business outside. He would thrive in an active family that can provide him with regular playtime and walks, ideally one or two times a day. Gary would be a great pet for a family that loves adventure and outdoor activities.

Story
Young 2 yr. old Corgi, found abandoned...Smores is a special case: To make things a little easier we will put our pups in categories ... such as, We have dogs who need experienced homes, meaning the home has no kids, and a lot of structure:..Smores is one of the.  Some dogs can get away with being treated like a kid but some dogs need to be treated like a dog. This by no means means , living outside, or not giving love and attention to them. It means not being babied but we, instead, need to be a good leader and have rules for them. To avoid any issues, you must manage the situation. We do this with teenaged kids all the time.... for example, you don't leave your car keys just anywhere so your teen doesn't try to take the keys and go for joy rides in your car without permission. Training starts from day one, teaching your new dog what you expect from them: Also teach with positive reinforcement. If a dog guards, start with feeding him from your hand. Teach him to give up a toy for something more exciting, a small piece of cheese or a cookie. Management is a part of every day life., NO kids, experienced ( meaning has worked with a dog that had issues in the past), and he loves dog friends so a dog or 2 In the home is needed. Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application  Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only. Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you! ##2161840##
