Meet Midnight!Midnight is a sweet and cute 5-6 year-old black mix of Corgi, Terrier, and Lab, though we're not entirely sure of his breed. This medium-sized dog weighs around 40 lbs and has a gentle nature. He loves everybody! If you can give Midnight his happily ever after, please apply: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41Give Midnight the loving home he deserves! 🐾❤️Disclaimer: I am located in Texas. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! UPDATE:  ISAAC has had the surgery to remove his cherry eye and all is well.  There is no medicine or daily care that he will need.  This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. If you are interested in adopting Isaac, please submit an application on the website below' www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.So this is DANNY whom I have no idea what real breed he is.  He looks like a Corgi Mix and he is long haired, I just do not know.  He is 4 years old and weighs 22 pounds. DANNY loves to hang out with me and lay on me and he growls or moans while he is doing it, I guess it is pleasing to him.  He was rescued from a not so good situation.  He was with his deceased owner for 2 weeks before relatives showed up and found them together.  The relatives put him in the yard and just forgot about him, never coming back to make sure he was okay or anything.  The neighbors fed and watered him another week until the relatives relinquished him.  The neighbors brought him to me and he has been settling in. He gets along with the other dogs but really has no interest in playing with any of them, he just wants to hang out with me.  Follows me all over the house.  He does play with toys and loves his chew bones.  He can be trusted in the home while and I am gone on errands and he is potty trained.  He puts himself in the crate sometimes to get away from the other dogs but he does not like me to lock him in. He rides in the car well and walks on the leash without pulling.  If you are interested in adopted DANNY please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Oh my goodness, still trying to figure out exactly what MADDIE is but the vet thinks she is mixed with Corgi/Terrier/Dachshund.  They estimate her to be exactly 1 year old and she weighs 25 pounds. MADDIE is a very good girl who is pleasant to be around and low maintenance on a daily basis.  She gets along with all of the dogs in the foster home and plays with most of them.  She is so easy-going and nice.  I figure she came from a home with kids in it because when she was found she had a pink marker drawing on her head, only a kid would do that.  Sadly, MADDIE was abandoned in a local PetSmart here in San Antonio, TX.  A lady pretending to be showing brought her in and just left her in the store to roam around.  The manager called me to help and I picked her up. If you are interested in adopting MADDIE please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Meet Felicia, a striking beauty with her rich chocolate-colored coat, upright ears, and golden eyes that seem to peer right into your soul. This amazing mama dog has lovingly cared for her eight puppies and now she’s ready to find HER forever home. Felicia is the epitome of love and nurturing. She has a kind heart and a gentle spirit, always ready to shower affection on those around her. Despite her short legs—what we affectionately call a “low rider” in rescue—she’s a good-sized dog, weighing in at 38 pounds. Her unique appearance, which makes her look like she stepped right out of a cartoon, is sure to turn heads wherever she goes! She is eager to please and knows basic commands. Oh and one more thing….. she has no tail! We believe Felicia might be a mix of Corgi and Chocolate Lab, but as with many rescue dogs, the DNA results might surprise us. One thing is for sure: she’ll be a showstopper as you walk around town, proudly showing off your beautiful new family member. Could Felicia be the one you’re looking for? The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $595.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. To apply to adopt one of our dogs fill out our adoption application at this link: https://form.jotform.com/ChasingSunshine/Chasing-Sunshine-Adoption-App Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $75.00)
