Story
To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: 2.5 years (as of 11/4/24) Weight: 27.2 lbs (as of 11/4/24) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Jessie, a young soul full of life. We are thinking gentle Jessie is a Corgi and Dachshund mix. Jessie loves to play with other dogs, but we don’t yet know how she is with cats and kids. Her spirit is infectious, bringing a smile to anyone who encounters her. Her intelligence is awe-inspiring, always eager to learn new tricks and commands. Jessie would love to join you in basic group training classes where she can socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! She was found as a stray, her past unknown, but her future is full of potential. Jessie's personality is a testament to her resilience and ability to love despite her circumstances. Why adopt Jessie? She's not just a dog, she's a companion, a friend, a confidante. She's a beacon of joy and a testament to unconditional love. With Jessie, every day is an adventure and every moment a memory. Adopt Jessie and let her fill your life with love, laughter, and a whole lot of play. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.November 11, 2024, 10:19 am

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Loretta - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey hey big ole world, I'm Loretta and I'm in search of a family, a home...one I can say will be ALL mine!! I was found abandoned, just thrown away like yesterdays trash, in a field with my brother, Conway so I'm hoping since you're reading this, it could possibly be with YOU?! At around a year old and 22lbs, I'm not super hyper for a young 'un but I definitely enjoy getting in some playtime and am full of learning possibilities. I am so very sweet natured and people oriented and love being where you are, I also love playing with the other pups in my foster home. I haven't had the chance to meet any of those weird creatures y'all call a cat yet but at my young age, if introduced properly I could be fine with them too. I am the most pawsomely perfect size for...yep, everything!! From neighborhood strolls to nature trails, from co-piloting outings to supervising yard maintenance...I AM YOUR GAL!! I'm a super social lil gal that has that fun lovin life mentality that is up for anything you wanta throw my way. Are you in need of a special companion that will be always by your side, a heartbeat at your feet, a constant in your life? Look no further, I could be just the 'one' you didn't even realize you needed. Full of life and eager to do whatever you're doing, from mundane to exciting, I'm happiest just being with you! So what'd ya say? You up for a best friend? Yippee, me too!!! Come on, hurry up, fill out my adoption application! I am so looking forward to being... yours!!!! Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! UPDATE:  ISAAC has had the surgery to remove his cherry eye and all is well.  There is no medicine or daily care that he will need.  This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. If you are interested in adopting Isaac, please submit an application on the website below' www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.So this is DANNY whom I have no idea what real breed he is.  He looks like a Corgi Mix and he is long haired, I just do not know.  He is 4 years old and weighs 22 pounds. DANNY loves to hang out with me and lay on me and he growls or moans while he is doing it, I guess it is pleasing to him.  He was rescued from a not so good situation.  He was with his deceased owner for 2 weeks before relatives showed up and found them together.  The relatives put him in the yard and just forgot about him, never coming back to make sure he was okay or anything.  The neighbors fed and watered him another week until the relatives relinquished him.  The neighbors brought him to me and he has been settling in. He gets along with the other dogs but really has no interest in playing with any of them, he just wants to hang out with me.  Follows me all over the house.  He does play with toys and loves his chew bones.  He can be trusted in the home while and I am gone on errands and he is potty trained.  He puts himself in the crate sometimes to get away from the other dogs but he does not like me to lock him in. He rides in the car well and walks on the leash without pulling.  If you are interested in adopted DANNY please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
