Story
We adopted him from a good foster home I know personally. From the start we knew he had anxiety issues and been mistreated prior to being fostered. He made good friends with our senior dog (who crossed the rainbow bridge) & our two cats. When that happened it absolutely wrecked him. He chewed through 3 kennels and lost several teeth doing so. We have two small children who he does very well with. He has been diagnosed at Cherry Point Animal Hospital with separation anxiety. We both work full time and since our kids came are no longer able to give him the attention he needs. He does very well while were home but has accidents and gets into the trash and other items daily almost as soon as we leave. These were isolated incidents until after our other dog passed May 2024. We have prior experience with hounds, but he deserves better than what we can give him currently. Willy is scared of storms, gunshots, the dark outside, and doesn't like rain. Loves the couch, getting petted & food.
