Everyone meet Wrangler! Wrangler is available for adoption through Maury County Animal Services! He wasn't a big fan of the kennel, so he is being fostered by Hound Dog Holler and enjoying time running around and playing with friends! If you want the houndiest of hounds, Wrangler is the guy for you! He can be sweet and loving, but can also raise cane and hoot-and-holler. We're working on putting some more weight on the fella, but he's an energetic guy and loves to run. He'd be a great addition to anyone with some space and a fence!

Story
We adopted this sweet hound dog in the fall because we thought our doodle might enjoy a playmate. This dog was at our local shelter and was so sweet and pretty, we were drawn to her right away. We think she may have been an outdoor farm dog previously since she didn't seem to understand how to go in and out of the house periodically and even climbed up onto our dining table. She had long teats which suggested she had given birth to puppies not too long ago. She has a very calm, sweet demeanor and is very gentle with our baby and first grader sons. However, it has gotten unmanageable to have her in our house because of her constant peeing and pooping indoors. We have tried crating her, taking her on walks, changing her meal times, and leaving her outside for hours--nothing has worked. She needs a semi-outdoor space at night like a garage or shed that would not be a big deal if she made a potty accident. We cannot keep cleaning up these messes with a crawling infant in our home.
