🌟 Meet Sammy! 🌟 Sammy is a 2-year-old sweetheart with a sensitive soul and a heart full of devotion once he knows he can trust you. He was adopted once, but through no fault of his own found his way back into rescue with Journey’s Legacy. Since February 2025, he’s been learning that the right home is still out there—and he’s absolutely worth the wait. Sammy is shy with new people and prefers to take things slow. He doesn’t love affection right in his face until he knows you—and once he’s comfortable, he’ll be the one to initiate it. But once Sammy approves? You’re officially his person. He will become your right-hand man, happily climbing into your lap, clinging to you, and showering you with love, hugs, and devotion. He is incredibly protective of his person and would make a wonderful companion for a single lady—Scout’s honor, he’ll keep you safe. 🫶 Sammy bonds deeply and takes that role very seriously. Sammy is dog friendly, though a bit picky, so a meet & greet is a must. He prefers no cats or small animals and does best with kids ages 10 and up, who can respect his boundaries as he warms up. As for the things Sammy truly loves? Squeaky toys and his raised bed—those are his absolute favorite things in the world. Give him those, plus patience and love, and you’ll have a loyal companion for life. 📍 Located in Cleveland, TN 🚗 Transport available 💰 Adoption fee: $150 Sammy may take a little time to open his heart—but once he does, you’ll never walk alone again.
