Story
Margot is an 8-year-old brindle hound mix (DNA testing says American Coonhound, Plott Hound, and Mountain Curr). I fell in love with her crooked tail when I adopted her from a shelter as a 4 mo. puppy, but unfortunately the broken tail was probably due to neglect from her first owner. She quickly came out of her shell and was so easily trainable and food-driven. She still knows and (mostly) obeys many commands such as: sit, lay down, paw, come, and crate. Fully crate and potty trained. No known medical issues or medications. She loves and needs outdoor space or long walks. She isn't a lap dog, but loves to crawl up on the other end of the couch/bed to be next to you and lives for pets. Her behavior is fine with older children, but she has shown to be impatient and not gentle enough with small and crawling children. She has zero history of biting but has growled/snapped in warning towards our small children which is unfortunately our reason for rehoming her. Looking for a loving home!

Harley is believed to be 8 years old. She is spayed, heartworm negative and around 65 pounds. She is also fully vaccinated. Harley's intake date is 11/5/2024, came in as a stray.
