Story
Minnow is so dang sweet and loveable. She is good with other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Minnow is friendly, loves to play and enjoys belly rubs. In spite of having been dumped at a very overcrowded shelter in the middle of the night, Minnow has bounced back and come out of her shy shell. The shelter staff could not bear the thought of having Minnow put on the list to be euthanized and reached out to us to help save her. Minnow is about 11 months old and 35 pounds. Please help Minnow find the loving home she deserves. Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. Story
Meet Delhi, a 7 month-old, 30-ish pound (as of 10/1), hound mix who is full of energy and curiosity. If you're looking for a dog who loves to explore, chase lantern flies, and sniff out every inch of the outdoors, Delhi might be your perfect match. She's a busy girl who is always on the go but will cuddle up with you when she’s ready for a break. Delhi is super food-motivated, making her a great student for training sessions. She already knows several commands like sit, come, lie down, and is working on stay and crate training. While she’s a quick learner, she does have a strong will, which is typical for her breed. While she’s crate trained and sleeps well through the night, she prefers not to be cooped up during the day and loves to know what’s happening around her. She’s still getting used to the sounds of the city but is getting braver every day. Delhi’s ideal home would be one with a backyard and perhaps in a quieter neighborhood where she can relax and explore at her own pace. With her sweet personality and eagerness to learn, Delhi will thrive in a loving, patient home. If you’re ready for an adventure, Delhi is ready to join you on your journey!
