Meet Hoss, a 6 year old coonhound! Hoss is a lovely and energetic boy, who would do well in an active home 💕. We're still getting to know him here, but he has been extremely friendly with all of the staff. A volunteer took him on a walk and told us that he has no issues with joggers or geese, and was mainly focused on getting as many good smells in his nose as possible 🥰. He is extremely true to his breed, and will happily take you on long sniffing adventures. Potential adopters should also consider their soundproofing before applying, since his baying will be extremely loud!This sweet boy would thrive in a calm home with adults and possibly older children. As he adjusts to new environments, he might show a little anxiety, but consistent positive reinforcement training will help him build confidence.Do you think you could be Hoss's person? Here are some ways to find out:1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!
