Story
Meet Hoss - Your Loyal Coonhound Companion!Hoss is a handsome 6-year-old Coonhound with a heart full of love and a nose ready for adventure! This sweet boy is friendly and affectionate but can be a little unsure around new people and when being handled. With patience and a gentle approach, Hoss quickly warms up and shows his goofy, lovable personality. He enjoys his walks, where he can sniff to his heart's content, and is always up for an outdoor adventure. However, he can be a bit jumpy when excited, so a home without small children would be best for him. Hoss would thrive in a calm and understanding home where he can build confidence and be part of the family. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with a touch of hound dog charm, Hoss might be the perfect match for you! The more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a companion, the better we can match animals with adopters! Do you think you could be Hoss's person? Here are some ways to find out:1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for, the better we can match animals with adopters! Our viewing/adoption hours are:1pm-5pm Monday - Wednesday, Friday1pm-4pm WeekendsThursday closed to the public.
