This beautiful little family has quite the story. Mama Alora and her three stunning, fluffy puppies (most have been adopted) were found abandoned on the side of the road, left to face the world all on their own. Thankfully, a kind-hearted good Samaritan stepped in and brought them to safety in a holding pen, where they waited for our animal rescue, Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue to take them in. Now, they’re ready to find their forever homes!
Mama Alora, loving and gentle soul. Despite her rough start, she’s incredibly sweet, devoted, and protective of her puppies. Her mixed heritage of Shepherd and Collie gives her a unique look, and she’s sure to melt your heart with her soulful eyes.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
