Larry is getting ready to head to Rhode Island from Houston, Texas, where he was pulled from a high intake shelter and has been thriving in foster care with a family there.  A very handsome scruffy, tri colored mystery mutt, it is hard to guess what is in there....Collie, Jack Russell and Shepherd a rough guess.  Whatever the case, he should mature to a guesstimated medium size, he is gorgeous, and perfect as far as puppies go.  Just a sweetheart, loves belly rubs, active as all puppies are but easygoing also, he is just a very well balanced little boy.  He is doing great with his training and housebreaking, pays good attention and likes to learn, is used to a crate, and a lover of all.  Very respectful playing with other dogs as well.  He has had a good start and is seeking for someone to continue that as he learns and grows.  He will arrive here neutered and ready to go.  Early applications are encouraged and available via contacting Lucy at maramuser@gmail.com.  We try to keep our adoption fees reasonable at $450, but do bear in mind that raising a puppy is expensive on its own, lol.  We unfortunately cannot adopt to residents of Masscahusetts or New Hampshire due to state restrictions there. For those planning to attend the wonderful AlwaysAdopt event, please be aware that Larry will not be attending, so please contact us directly with any questions you may have.

As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Queso is a sweet little guy with a BIG bark! He's around 4 months old, weighs 19#s! He is fluffy coated and very playful! Now available for adoption

Cheddar is the kind of dog who leaves an impression. There is a natural charm about him that draws people in, and his gentle nature makes it VERY easy to fall in love. Just look at that smile. He was born on 3/4/20 and is a Rough Collie mixed breed. Beyond his striking good looks, Cheddar also has an amazing personality. He is a very sweet guy and he enjoys being around people. He would love nothing more than to find a family he could love forever very soon. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. *PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience. HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. 2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. 3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
