Story
Sophie is a Rough Collie-Great Pyrenees mix puppy who is almost too adorable for words! This baby floof is on track to be a very big girl when she grows up, so she’s looking for a forever family with a special place in their hearts for large- and/or giant-breed dogs. Sophie is the sweetest, silliest little girl who loves everyone and everything. To her, life is just one grand adventure after another, and all she needs is some companions to tag along with! Sophie absolutely adores humans and wants cuddles and kisses at every opportunity. Whether on the floor, by your side on the sofa, or in your arms, this puppy just loves love! She’s also great around kids and would love having some human siblings to play with. Sophie is very well-socialized and thrives in the company of other dogs, especially younger spirited ones who love to play as much as she does! She needs to be in a forever family with a dog sibling (or two!) to pal around with, and to continue learning from. Because she has a lot of energy (even by puppy standards) along with the famed Great Pyrenees tendency to roam and explore, a forever home with a physically fenced-in yard is an absolute must for her. While she hasn’t been cat-tested, she has a strong prey drive, so Sophie needs to be in a forever home without cats, toy-sized dogs, or other small animals. Sophie is a super smart girl who learns quickly! She has good recall, is eager to please, and is reliably house-trained for a puppy her age. She knows “sit” and is working on other basic commands, and she’s started learning leash-walking manners, too. Sophie is quite independent, as Great Pyrs are known to be, but she’s motivated by treats, toys, praise, and affection, so we think that with some more time and effort—and under the guidance of an experienced pup parent—she’ll be well-trained in no time! If you’ve been wanting to add a giant, goofy floof to your family, Sophie just might be the puppy of your dreams! Story
With a name like Mischief you must wonder how I got that name. I’m really the silliest boy. I love picking up household treasures and moving them somewhere else. If left unattended with said treasures, I’ve been known to leave a few toof marks. I’m easily redirected and entertained by Himalayan cheese chews for more positive chewing habits. My foster mom calls me lover boy. I love showing my affection by putting my snoot right on your lap, giving kisses, and gentle nibbles. I’m great with other dogs, although I would enjoy being the only one getting all the attention. I’m also great with kids!! The more people to love and love me back, the better. I’m happiest in the great outdoors. I love watching over my yard and saying hi to people that walk or drive by. I’ll need a fence to keep me safe from wandering too far. I’m also house trained and crate trained (as long as you toss a tasty treat inside). I will love being wherever you are and make a wonderful companion as the perfect mix of playful and sweet! If Mischief strikes your fancy and you are ready to help her become the best Collie citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today! Don't wait! Story
PHYSICAL FENCE REQUIRED Hi! I am Violet! My amazing Foster Mama likes to call me Honey though because I am just so sweet and my coat is the color of golden honey. I am really starting to enjoy my leash walks in the quiet park and I get in and out of the car like a champ. I have learned that car rides are lots of fun for me! Loud noises and sudden movements still scare me but I am getting better each day – this is a big world with lots of things for me to learn about after all. My most favorite thing to do is sit beside my humans (or even on your lap!) and have my face rubbed. Even though they say I am a work in progress, I am working really hard to break free of my wariness to become the best Collie girl ever! I just need a little time and patience with my new family. Violet came to us from a situation where she was with many other Collies and not receiving the attention she deserved. She will require a safe and secure physical fence so she can freely romp and play in her yard. A quiet home will be best for Violet and perhaps with another canine sibling to help her navigate this big world. If you’ve got the love to help Violet continue her journey to becoming her best self, fill out an Adoption Application for her today! Story
So many things to say about this active little muffin! Her Foster Mama just loves her and Miley is doing her darndest to keep her entertained. She is active, loves other dogs, extremely happy and just bounces along with joy in her heart. Miley also loves a little pampering and will sit still for petting. Miley is so smart and athletic that our very experienced Foster Mama feels she would be a good candidate for agility or rally. Miley will need an active adopter willing to harness her puppy smarts for good. If Miley strikes your fancy and you are ready to help her become the best Collie citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today! Don’t wait! Story
PHYSICAL FENCE REQUIRED Here is what Griff wants you to know about him before you take him home: “Well well, well....just look at me!!! I am incredibly good looking, wouldn't you agree? At just 5 years old, I am ready for a lifelong relationship. And I tell you what, you could not ask for a better-behaved Smoothie, as we are called, than me!! I am immaculate in my housekeeping. I will gladly go into a crate, but I would be more than happy just to sit by your side and adore you!! And walks??? Oh, you know it!! I would love just to show you off around the neighborhood! I'm a gentleman through and through. I am a little vocal when I see other dogs, but I am just saying," Look at me!! Am I not gorgeous?" I like little people, but not too little! I get rambunctious and might knock the littlest ones over! Trust me, I need a fence. Only because small creatures excite me too much and I just may chase them! So, no felines or small doggos please. I am ready to be your forever boy!! Call and meet me today!! “ Love, Griff If Griff strikes your fancy and you are ready to help him continue to be the best Collie citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today!
