THIS GUY! Wow! He has come a LONG away since he's been in our care. He was scheduled for euthanasia simply because they were out of room. He and his brother Happy. So a Good Samaritan pulled them both and spared them from certain death. They have been amazing, becoming very social because they have been attending doggy daycare everyday and receiving hands in one on one professional training! Captain is approx 7-8 months old. He's shy at first around new things but warms up quickly. He is kennel trained and house trained and it goes without saying he's dog friendly since he attends doggy daycare! He's super easy to get along with just needs a patient family because he is a bit shy at first around new things. He's with Kip and Michele in their home in Memphis, Tn. Once an application has been submitted and approved Kip, who has been working with Captain one on one for several months, will speak to you and tell you all about him. Transport cost is an additional $185. If you would like to make Captain a part of your family Please follow the link below to our adoption application . https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Sophie is a Rough Collie-Great Pyrenees mix puppy who is almost too adorable for words! This baby floof is on track to be a very big girl when she grows up, so she’s looking for a forever family with a special place in their hearts for large- and/or giant-breed dogs. Sophie is the sweetest, silliest little girl who loves everyone and everything. To her, life is just one grand adventure after another, and all she needs is some companions to tag along with! Sophie absolutely adores humans and wants cuddles and kisses at every opportunity. Whether on the floor, by your side on the sofa, or in your arms, this puppy just loves love! She’s also great around kids and would love having some human siblings to play with. Sophie is very well-socialized and thrives in the company of other dogs, especially younger spirited ones who love to play as much as she does! She needs to be in a forever family with a dog sibling (or two!) to pal around with, and to continue learning from. Because she has a lot of energy (even by puppy standards) along with the famed Great Pyrenees tendency to roam and explore, a forever home with a physically fenced-in yard is an absolute must for her. While she hasn’t been cat-tested, she has a strong prey drive, so Sophie needs to be in a forever home without cats, toy-sized dogs, or other small animals. Sophie is a super smart girl who learns quickly! She has good recall, is eager to please, and is reliably house-trained for a puppy her age. She knows “sit” and is working on other basic commands, and she’s started learning leash-walking manners, too. Sophie is quite independent, as Great Pyrs are known to be, but she’s motivated by treats, toys, praise, and affection, so we think that with some more time and effort—and under the guidance of an experienced pup parent—she’ll be well-trained in no time! If you’ve been wanting to add a giant, goofy floof to your family, Sophie just might be the puppy of your dreams! Story
With a name like Mischief you must wonder how I got that name. I’m really the silliest boy. I love picking up household treasures and moving them somewhere else. If left unattended with said treasures, I’ve been known to leave a few toof marks. I’m easily redirected and entertained by Himalayan cheese chews for more positive chewing habits. My foster mom calls me lover boy. I love showing my affection by putting my snoot right on your lap, giving kisses, and gentle nibbles. I’m great with other dogs, although I would enjoy being the only one getting all the attention. I’m also great with kids!! The more people to love and love me back, the better. I’m happiest in the great outdoors. I love watching over my yard and saying hi to people that walk or drive by. I’ll need a fence to keep me safe from wandering too far. I’m also house trained and crate trained (as long as you toss a tasty treat inside). I will love being wherever you are and make a wonderful companion as the perfect mix of playful and sweet! If Mischief strikes your fancy and you are ready to help her become the best Collie citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today! Don't wait! And if Mischief isn’t your cup of tea, we have many more Collies of all ages coming in weekly. Please visit https://tristatecollierescue.org/how-to-adopt/ to complete the adoption application. PHYSICAL FENCE REQUIRED Here is what Griff wants you to know about him before you take him home: “Well well, well....just look at me!!! I am incredibly good looking, wouldn't you agree? At just 5 years old, I am ready for a lifelong relationship. And I tell you what, you could not ask for a better-behaved Smoothie, as we are called, than me!! I am immaculate in my housekeeping. I will gladly go into a crate, but I would be more than happy just to sit by your side and adore you!! And walks??? Oh, you know it!! I would love just to show you off around the neighborhood! I'm a gentleman through and through. I am a little vocal when I see other dogs, but I am just saying," Look at me!! Am I not gorgeous?" I like little people, but not too little! I get rambunctious and might knock the littlest ones over! Trust me, I need a fence. Only because small creatures excite me too much and I just may chase them! So, no felines or small doggos please. I am ready to be your forever boy!! Call and meet me today!! “ Love, Griff If Griff strikes your fancy and you are ready to help him continue to be the best Collie citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today! Story
What can we say about this dapper gent? Better yet, what would Beau like to say to his admirers?! Here goes: Hi Everypawdy! I’m Beau! Everyone thinks I am super handsome as that’s what my name means, and well, how can I argue with that! But looks aren’t all I possess. I fell on hard times when my previous owner could no longer care for me. Not my fault but since I have Collie in me, I am super resilient and love life. My foster Mama is teaching me how to navigate this big world and my foster siblings are a big help too. I am full of energy but also a love bug. And being a lap dog is super fun as I try to squeeze on an available lap! I like my crate when it is bed time and I also use the restroom outside. Leash walks are lots of fun too. Best part is I am a quick study and learning that counters and talking too loud are a no-no. As much as I love my foster Mama and foster siblings I cannot wait to meet my new family! If Beau strikes your fancy and you are ready to help him continue to be the best Collie Mix citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today! Don't wait!
