He is living in a house for the first time, and it’s obvious he loves it because he comes running inside when called. He has just begun learning commands and housetraining. Jett loves playing with his toys, all of them. He loves food and is motivated by treats. Jet loves people and dogs equally. Outside, he prefers to explore over playing when he first gets outside. One of Jett’s favorite pastimes is to have you pet him. His foster mom says he is “very trusting, very loving and very happy.” Jett is beautiful inside and out.    Jett is currently being fostered with his brother, Cade. He starts each day with a smile on his face and a wagging tail. He loves attention, cuddling and being petted and is hoping for a family that will shower him with all three every day. Laddie is a smart boy and quick learner. He has already mastered the meaning of No, Sit, Down, and Get in Your Bed. He is very motivated by treats and food, and he loves to please, so it has been easy to teach him both commands and manners. Laddie is eager to meet any human and assumes they are happy to meet him as well. He is alert to what his foster family members are doing and where they are going, and his goal is to always be near them. He has gotten along well with the resident dogs and the cat. When outdoors Laddie enjoys exploring and playing, and he is learning what to do with toys from his canine siblings. Laddie is an easy-going guy who has a zest for life. When he is very happy he not only wags his tail but can make it go in circles just like a propeller. She is a beautiful tri-colored smooth collie with a friendly, playful personality. Excited to meet new people, she happily greets them with a wagging tail. Her foster family welcomed her into their home once Almost Home rescued her from a shelter. Eager to please her foster family, she is very motivated  and is currently working on learning all of her commands. She is making positive progress and is both house and crate trained. Elsa is great with other dogs. She happily greets them and wants to be their playmate and friend. She is content with both humans and dogs, showing no anxieties. She may need some extra teaching, as she had a slow start in her life. This sweet soul is a quick learner and just wants to be loved. She is looking forward to meeting her forever family! He enjoys playing with toys with others and by himself. He equally loves the company of people and dogs. Beau’s foster mom presumes he will be good with kids once he has settled down after meeting them. He gets along well with the resident dogs in his foster home. He is curious about cats and likes to chase, but there is one cat in the household who has Beau’s number. When Beau is crated and can’t give chase, the cat likes to stroll past the crate, which drives Beau crazy. Otherwise, though curious and playful with cats, he knows to stop and back away if they raise their paw. He also enjoys meeting other dogs. Beau is spooked by loud noises so would prefer a home where that doesn’t happen often. He isn’t much of a snuggler since he has that puppy energy. He does like to play outside, so Beau would like someone who enjoys playtime. Beau also requests that his forever family get a Kong and fill it with peanut butter for him–it’s one of his most favorite things.  Beau is being fostered with his sister, Samantha.
