Lexi came to us needing medical care, and our team successfully removed a benign mass from her lower back. Now, she's healthier than ever and ready to find her forever home. Lexi has a vibrant personality and is both playful and affectionate. She knows commands like "sit" and "paw" and has a special love for playing tag, often tucking her tail and running around like a joyful pup. Lexi loves to roll into your lap for some petting, showing just how much she adores human companionship. Her unique and unforgettable smile is always on display, and she knows how to use it to win hearts. This lovely girl is also social with other mild-mannered dogs, making her a great companion for your furry family members. Please note Lexi is currently residing in a foster home. TEDDY 3YRS 30LBS MALE AUS CATTLE DOG LISA 1YR 20 LBS FEMALE MIX MUST HAVE ACD/HERDING BREED EXPERIENCE BONDED PAIR-Ever wanted a dog for you and a dog for your sig other but were afraid of clashing personalities? Well, not here because these two love each other, a LOT, so at least you know they get along perfectly and there is one for each of you. 2x the love!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And man, are they CUTE!) They travel often in the car with me for over an hour at a time - they do ride crated. Load up easy and ride quietly- unless we go through a drive through then Lisa has opinions about what she wants too. She likes to play ball, but not as intense as Teddy and will just let him get it and go find something else to do. They play and wrestle with each other and other dogs. Not overly rough but will get on ground with each other. They love to run laps in the yard chasing each other. They leave my uninterested dogs alone, as there is always someone else to play with. Lisa did not get along with my 1 male foster - just a little 10 pounder . Not sure who to started the war, but I did not leave them loose with each other * no actual fight/injury/contact ever occured. There was alot of noise 1 time, and they would grumble at each other when passing by each other's crates/run at work. Teddy is pretty easy going but doesn't like to be corrected. He will get bossy -verbal and pin someone who tries to But a sharp HEY from me and he will stop and walk away * never has been a fight or injury. Loves to play fetch and the other dogs do not challenge him to get the ball away from him. He would definitely destroy a stuffed toy if given the chance. They both love to chew on antlers/ nylabones/Benebone etc Teddy is a super cuddler and happy to hang on the couch or bed. Lisa loves attention too but takes a bit more to settle down at first. Both settle quickly and Quietly in a crate. They are both jumpers and when seeking attention. They have gotten better, but would need to be reminded of their manners going forward. We do not require a fenced BUT they would need a secure area to be able to run in and burn off energy weekly. Crate trained and housebroken This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention. JONESY MALE 3.5 YRS 28 POUNDS We're not sure what Jonesy's life was like before he was rescued, but seems like it was a ruff one. He was found injured laying in a ditch ( after being hit by a car) His front leg was dislocated and had several other injuries. Thank fully he was found and taken in for some help. He had his front leg fixed and meds to help heal the rest. He came to AJs happy and ready for his next steps to finding a forever home. He still had a slight limp so xrays were taken and there was a suspicious looking area on his rear leg that needed to be further examined. This week he had his follow up, with a new set of xrays, and all though he does have some arthritis. Day to day he has no issue and is happy and healthy. He is on a joint supplement to help promote healthy joints, but no medication. He also has a notch of his ear missing from some prior incident that we dont know anything about. He is a friendly dog who seems to do well with everyone. He is dog friendly, but seems edgy around pushy male dogs. He is overly interested / seems to have a prey drive, so cats (or other small animals) are Not a good fit for him. We have not seen him around children. Loves to sunbath , and could hang out while you do yard work. Or would happily go for a walk with you, then take a nap I'm a comfy spot. This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention. Alona came to us pregnant and had a big surprise for us - 13 puppies! She was a very good mom and is now looking for her own family. We are guessing her about a year old and weighs 55 pounds. She is sweet and gentle with everyone she meets. Good with dogs and cats, crate trained, seems to be housebroken, rides nicely in the car (crated). We have not seen around kids, but with her sweet nature i think it could be an easy fit. This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention.
