Story
Meet Dai Mar – The Gentle Gentleman with a Playful Spark! Age: 12 years (13 in August) | Breed: Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix Weight:    66 lbs | Adoption Fee: $375 | Neutered: Yes Don’t let his age fool you— Dai Mar may be a senior in years, but he still has the heart (and play drive!) of a much younger pup. This sweet, easygoing guy loves squeaky toys, a good game of tug-of-war, and—most of all—being near his people. He’s the kind of companion who’ll be by your side through thick and thin, offering loyalty, love, and the occasional goofy grin. Dai Mar is friendly with everyone he meets, including other dogs, cats, and respectful kiddos. He’s potty trained with a regular routine but does have an occasional accident, hasn’t needed to be crated, preferring to spend his time near the people he loves. While he's mostly agile, he occasionally needs a little help going up and down steps—but he’s still active and enjoys moving around. He is a vocal guy when it comes to unexpected noises, so a quiet, calm home would suit him best. If you’re looking for a gentle, devoted friend with a golden heart and a playful streak, Dai Mar might be the perfect match for you. He’s ready to bring joy, love, and companionship into a home that will treasure him as much as he’ll treasure you. Ready to meet Dai Mar? Apply today and give this sweet senior the cozy, love-filled home he deserves. A s a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)  Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.  $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.   Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.  We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.  Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.  Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!     October 11, 2025, 9:59 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Prepare to fall in love! Tedah is perhaps the sweetest dog we've ever met, a truly special senior lady seeking a soft, quiet landing after bravely raising her puppies on the streets. Every person who meets Tedah instantly adores her gentle, kind spirit. Her tail wags in joyous circles when she’s happy! Tedah is a dainty, dignified, and soulful lady. Her recent struggles mean she cherishes rest, often found napping on a sheepskin by the fireplace. She enjoys quiet mornings exploring the yard and soaking up the sun. At night, Tedah is a perfect houseguest, preferring a cozy dog bed or even your bed – no crate needed. She loves being near you but doesn't demand attention, simply content to be in the room where things happen. Tedah adores gentle petting and will sweetly nudge you to continue if you stop too soon. While she's past the playful puppy stage, she occasionally enjoys a bone. Other dogs invite her to play, but she's still a bit unsure, a testament to her quiet nature. Tedah needs an adopter with immense patience and a peaceful home, ready to offer her quiet guidance and all the love she deserves. This sweet girl has untold stories, and we promise she'll fill your life with warmth and gentle affection.   Adopting a senior dog is like getting a vintage car – it comes with character, a few extra quirks, and might need a bit more maintenance. Expect occasional tune ups at the vet for oil changes (aka meds), and embrace the fact that those 'normal lumps and bumps' are just part of the well-earned charm package! Ruff Start will share all known health information with adopters and recommendations to keep your senior dog in top shape. Tedah is from a local impound.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Jaxx, a true firecracker! He came into rescue scared and unsure but he’s been bravely settling in and letting his personality shine. This energetic little pup is always on the move, curious and ready for adventure. Snuggles aren’t his first priority as playtime and zoomies come first! Jaxx does have typical herding breed “nippy” tendencies so he will do best in a home with older considerate children who understand puppy behavior. Jaxx will do best with  a medium to large dog buddy to match his energy. He is reactive to small dogs and cats so a home without them is a must. A lot of mental and physical stimulation is a must for this guy, since he's an active herding mix who needs room to run and explore. He’s still learning about the world and can be nervous with new people and loud noises.  Potty training is underway  and he has been doing great peeing outside but still is working on pooping outside.  Crate training is a work in progress as he is getting used to the routine and improving each day. Jaxx can be vocal as many herding mixes are, so a home that doesn’t mind some puppy chatter is ideal.  With patience, consistency and training then Jaxx will be your loyal companion. He will thrive in a home with someone who understands herding breeds.  Jaxx is from a local impound. Story
Location: St Paul, MN Meet Juno! She has the cutest "masked" face and behind that mask is a beautiful girl with the sweetest temperament. She is eager to please and very affectionate. She's got the perfect amount of puppy energy combined with superb cuddling skills. Juno is housetrained and is quickly learning new commands like "sit" and "down". She gets along well with her resident dogs and loves toys. Juno is working on gaining weight as she came into the rescue underweight, but she loves eating so will quickly get back to an ideal weight. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
