Story
Say hello to Ace! This puppy is a 5 month-old, 33 pound Collie mix with lots of growing and learning left to do. Born in rescue with eight other siblings, Ace is learning quickly how to be a good dog and is ready to take on the world! This handsome pup is very sweet and inquisitive! He is a happy boy who will never turn down a good belly rub. Ace enjoys joining the other dogs outside to explore, run, and play in the backyard. A fenced yard would be a bonus for this sweet guy to continue to learn in a safe environment.Ace has started crate training but started out spending his nights and unsupervised time in an open-top pen with his siblings. He is a highly intelligent breed and is eager to learn. Although still a young pup, potty training has been quite successful with Ace and his siblings!Ace is a Collie mixed breed, making him a natural herding and working dog. His ideal forever family will be one that is dedicated to giving Ace consistent and structured training and a high level of activity. Ace is the type of dog who thrives off of consistent enrichment and the feeling of having a ‘job’.These natural herding instincts may be overwhelming for some cats. A confident and tolerant cat in the home may be successful but it is recommended to start off with slow and controlled interactions. Ace has been around other dogs since he was born and has done very well! Continued socialization with other dogs while Ace continues to grow and learn will be key.Due to the natural chattiness and vocal announcing that he has, Ace is not a candidate for dwellings with shared walls.Ace is ready to meet his forever family! With patience and consistent training, he will surely develop into the perfect dog anyone could ask for.
