These babies were brought to us after a lady’s neighbor left the pregnant mama. She kept the mom but could not keep her babies. This is a fun group of pups! They aren't very loud, do not bark a bunch unless playing. They do well in a crate, usually just go to sleep. Very sweet group that would do well with any type of family. They will probably do well with some exercise but a yard isn’t necessary if walked enough. They would do well on hikes or other outside adventures. I'm Rhys, a sweet and cuddly Great Pyr Mix. I'm a handsome boy, weighing in at 45 pounds and still a puppy, so I'm growing and learning every day! At home, I'm all about the cuddles. Whether it's on the couch, bed, your lap (even though I'm a bit big for that), or basking in a sunny spot, I'm happiest when I'm close to my humans. I'm also quite playful with other dogs – I love a good game of chase and splashing around in a kiddy pool. I might be a bit clumsy, but I've mastered the art of tucking and rolling when I tumble – hee hee! Belly rubs are my favorite, and I'm always ready to give you lots of kisses when you need them. I'm almost potty trained – just need to stick to a good schedule. I'm getting better with my crate, too. I might bark a bit at first, but I settle down quickly. I'm still working on my leash skills, but I go for daily walks and enjoy them. I know some basic commands like "sit" and "down." I'm great with other dogs of all sizes, and while I love having doggy friends, I could be happy as an only dog too, as long as I'm not left alone for long periods. If you are looking for a dog with brains, beauty and brawn, I may be just the guy for you. It is obvious I am a big boy but that doesn't mean I’m not a lap dog! I love to curl up as tiny as possible and sit right in your lap. I’m a young guy at about 10 months old and weigh around 50 lbs, with a little mix of Pyrenees, Husky and maybe a few other things! My foster family says I’m a mellow dude for my age, and I’ve fit in nicely with the older resident dogs. I love to snuggle up with my people and go on walks (or a good run!), where I might keep an eye out for squirrels and other curious creatures. My people tell me I’m a "Velcro dog" because I love staying close—I’m a big fan of being near my humans! I’m smart and eager to learn, especially with treats as motivation. I already know “sit,” and I’d be super excited to keep learning more commands with you. Because of my mix of breeds, I can be a little protective, especially around new people, so I’d do best in a calm, adults-only home where I can focus on bonding with my family and building trust. Just so you know, I am scared of some men so would need some patience and time to be friends. Walks are one of my favorite things, though I’m still learning not to pull so much. A fenced yard would be ideal, too, since I’m a bit of a flight risk if I get spooked by something unfamiliar. I’m working on my potty training and getting pretty good at signaling when I need to go out. And while I haven’t made peace with those fluffy cats, I get along great with other dogs, especially when they respect my need for space sometimes. This 3-month-old Collie/Lab mix is a bundle of love just waiting to find his forever family! Location: St Paul, MN Holly was named Honey by her previous family, and it very much suits her! She was unfortunately returned due to no real fault of her own. She can be skittish to loud noises and sudden movements, so a house with small kiddos just wasn't the right fit for her. She has been with us just over a week and is the easiest little sweetheart! She is potty trained, goes in her kennel on her own or when told to "kennel, but we have left her out when we are gone and she's just fine. She lets us know when she has to go outside with her cute little peeps, and comes right back in when called. She loves snuggles and attention, and digs her head under your hand when you stop petting her. She does know some basic commands according to her previous family. She loves our two dogs and is very playful with them. She has been interested in our cats but responds to "leave it very well. We have taken her on walks, and we think she somewhat enjoys them? She's happy when she forgets the world is a little scary, and is okay with cars passing by but could also hear or see something that is intimidating and might cower or jump. If her future home had a fenced in yard that she can explore on her own, that might be best for her. Dog parks might be pretty intimidating for her, but we haven't tried yet. She has been slightly apprehensive with my husband, but he reassures her and she's totally okay with him once he pets her and talks to her. Overall, she has been an incredibly easy foster for us, and we just wish she didn't have to be scared sometimes! She does still jump or cower to unexpected noises or movements, but she's never been reactive and can be called over for pets immediately. We think she would do best in a quiet home with someone who just wants a BFF. She is much warmer to females, but warms up to men eventually. We know there is a perfect home out there for her, and she will be the perfect dog for someone! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.

In the spring of 2023, we got a call about 4 dogs who were in bad shape and living in the woods a couple of hours from me. We set traps and were able to rescue 2 of the 4. We tried and tried to get the other 2, but we were unable to do so. Some of the local people continued to try to get them, as well, but couldn’t. I am still very sad about having to leave them behind. Chester and Chloe were near death when we rescued them. They were starving, their skin was horrible, and of course, they had every known parasite. They are healthy now. Chloe is still very shy, and I feel that she needs a special home with a lot of love, patience and attention! We do not see any aggression in her. She has been at Blue Ribbon Kennels now for 14 months and needs a forever and loving home so badly. She has never had the opportunity to live inside a house and to be part of a family. Chloe is in Mississippi. When adopted, she will come fully vetted and will be transported by Rescue Riders, a very reliable transporter. All of this is included in her adoption fee.

Selena is such a perfect little lady. She is very sweet and loving. She adores running and playing but she is all for the attention from her human friends. She gets along well with other dogs and loves kids. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone's family. Selena has been fully vetted, spayed and microchipped.
