Story
Gaby | Collie–Lab Mix | 24 lbs Meet Gaby, a sweet and loving 9-month-old Collie–Lab mix who is ready to find her forever family. Gaby has a gentle, affectionate nature and truly loves being close to her people. She is  happiest when she can keep an eye on you and engage you for some play time.  Gaby is a sensitive girl who can be a little slow to trust at first, but once she feels safe, she bonds deeply and becomes incredibly loyal—your little shadow. She has done well with kids and has shown she can coexist with other dogs, though she may need slow introductions and continued guidance to feel fully comfortable. Gaby’s confidence is growing every day—especially when it comes to walks! While she used to prefer quick potty breaks and heading back inside, she’s been making great progress and is learning to enjoy getting out and exploring more.   Like any young pup, Gaby has a playful side too. She loves toys (especially the noisy ones!) and enjoys bursts of playtime. She also appreciates having a cozy space to relax and unwind. She already knows some basics like her name, “no,” “sit,” and “shake,” and she’s a smart girl who will thrive with continued structure and gentle training. Gaby is incredibly sweet, loving, and just wants to feel safe and loved. She’s looking for a home that will give her a little patience at first—and in return, you’ll get a deeply devoted best friend.   www.lolasrescue.com/donate Venmo: @LOLASRESCUECO PayPal: Info@lolasrescue.com Cashapp: $LolasRescue Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.   You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2661811##

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Chencha finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Chencha | 3-Year-Old Collie/German Shepherd Mix | 40 lbs of Energy and Heart Chencha is a stunning 40-pound Collie/German Shepherd mix with a playful personality and an enormous heart. At three years old, she’s a high-energy, affectionate girl who loves being as close to her people as possible — paws in your lap, head under your hand, ready for pets at all times. She is almost fully house trained and understands that potty time happens outside. She’ll stand by the door to let you know she needs to go and does best with a consistent schedule. Chencha thrives on activity and would do best in a very active home with a securely fenced yard. She loves running, playing, and especially romping with other energetic dogs. A daily jog, hike, or long game of fetch would be right up her alley. After a good play session, she’s happy to sploot and recharge. On leash, she’s still building confidence and working through some reactivity, but she improves as the walk continues and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement. Chencha can also be vocal, especially when she’s excited or alerting to something, so she would not be a good fit for apartment living. A single-family home with space to move and play would be ideal for her. She enjoys toys, tug-of-war, chew bones, water play, and brushing. Because of her enthusiastic (and sometimes clumsy) play style, she would likely do best with older children. Chencha is ready for a patient, active, loving family who will continue helping her grow in confidence while embracing her joyful, silly spirit. In return, she’ll bring nonstop fun, loyalty, and plenty of impressive sploots.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Peach: The Sweetest Pup You’ll Ever Meet We’re guessing Peach is around 8–10 years old. She was living at a sheepherderders ranch when he suddenly died leaving 19 dogs homeless. Peach was one of the last ones to be rescued. This sweet, squishy senior might have spent her whole life outside but she has adapted beautifully to indoor living. She'll take a sofa and TV over the cold ground any day! Since coming into her temporary foster, Peach has discovered the absolute joy of living indoors… soft beds, cozy blankets, brushing sessions, and someone to cuddle with. She is soaking it all in like she’s been waiting her whole life for this chapter. She’s completely vetted, house trained, and was trustworthy in the home from day one — no kennel needed. She just wants to be near her people. She adores being brushed, melts into you for cuddles, and gives the sweetest little kisses. And yes… she kind of looks like an Oompa Loompa.   She does well with other dogs and politely barks at the cat (we all have our hobbies). On leash she’s still figuring things out — we’re keeping expectations humble and progress steady. Walks really aren't her jam so if you have a soft place for her to lounge she will be perfectly content! What Peach truly wants? A soft place to land. A couch. A human. Some TV time. A hand to hold. After a lifetime outside, she deserves to spend her golden years safe, adored, and spoiled rotten. If you’ve ever thought about giving a senior dog a home… Peach is ready to give you her whole heart. Peach is in a temp forster and we are looking for a foster or foster to adopt for her. If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $75 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2674223##

Story
Dottie is officially turning one year old this month, and her biggest birthday wish is a patient heart and a playful pup in her forever home. At around 30 lbs, Dottie is the perfect "medium" size for adventures big and small. She is a sensitive soul who finds the big, loud world a little overwhelming at times, but her true personality shines brightest when she’s around other dogs and someone she trusts. Dottie requires a home with an established, confident, and playful dog sibling. She has a lot of puppy energy and loves to roughhouse; having a canine mentor will help her find her courage and gives her something to watch and follow. She still needs to learn how to be a confident girl! She is fully potty trained and goes in her kennel when told. She sleeps in her kennel and stays in there when we are gone. She does well on walks and is learning to be great on a leash. Shs has been trusted off leash before with a dependable, confident dog she trusts to follow. She is highly food motivated, which is the fastest way to win her trust and to teach her expectations. She’ll take treats gently from most people but enjoys being pet/ scratched only once she knows you’re safe. Dottie would be best in a "low-pressure" home. She needs a family that understands she won't be a lap-dog on day one or even day one hundred. She needs plenty of time to decompress and an understanding environment where she can learn alongside her dog sibling that new things aren't so scary.. If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2518010##

Story
Rescue isn’t always soft ears and cute fluffy puppies. Sometimes rescue is a dog who has survived something she never should have had to.Meet Pepper. Pepper was very pregnant when she was found. A rancher roped her with a lariat, and when she panicked — because of course she did — the rope only tightened around her neck. The more she fought for air and safety, the worse it became. You can picture the fear. The confusion. The sheer desperation of a mother about to give birth, dragged and restrained. That memory didn’t just disappear when she was rescued. Pepper still has an aversion to leashes and hands reaching toward her collar. We’ve had her about a month, and only now is she beginning to be comfortable with a leash being clipped on. She is not yet walking on leash yet. Not because she’s stubborn. Because trauma leaves marks you can’t see. Pepper needs more than an adopter. She needs an angel. Despite everything, Pepper is gentle. She is tender. She is trying. She watches quietly from her cozy hideaway, taking it all in. She doesn’t rush. She doesn’t demand. But when she decides you are safe? It’s sacred. She comes when called. She tiptoes over for affection. She curls into you on the couch like she’s been waiting her whole life to exhale. Her love is not loud. It’s earned. And when you earn it, it feels like the greatest gift in the world. Crates are too much for her right now. Confinement reminds her of fear. She deserves space, softness, choice. With other dogs? She’s different. Light. Silly. Spunky. She currently lives with a male Hound mix and adores him — they nap together, play together, move through the house side by side. She previously lived peacefully with four adult dogs of all sizes. Other dogs bring out the version of Pepper that we know and love. She's relaxed, joyful, playful. With new people, she is still shy. Careful .Pepper is intelligent. She wants to learn. You can see her thinking through her fear. With patience, gentle encouragement, and especially a confident canine companion to show her the ropes, she will continue to blossom. Slowly. Beautifully. Pepper is looking for: A patient, deeply kind adopter A home with another friendly, confident dog Someone who understands that healing isn’t linear A family who sees the beauty in sensitive souls This is not a “plug and play” dog. Pepper will not march into your life on a leash with instant confidence. But if you have ever wanted to be someone’s safe place — the one they choose, the one they trust, the one who rewrites their story — Pepper is waiting. She survived. She protected her babies. She is still here. Now she just needs someone who will never tighten the rope again. About Pepper:• Approximately 2 years old• 37 pounds — the perfect in-between size• House mannered and respectful in the home• Dog-friendly and happiest with a canine companion Pepper needs someone to believe in her.   YOU CAN SEE MORE PICS & VIDEOS ON OUR WEBSITE: https://www.circle2rescue.com/available-pets/  Petfinder limits the number of pics & videos.
