This charming pup is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, ready to embark on the next chapter of his life. Described as a good boy with a heart full of love and energy, Peabody thrives in the company of an active family who can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. He's adept at navigating the ins and outs of home life, being house, crate, and doggie door trained. While he hasn't been tested with cats, he's known to get along well with female dogs. However, Peabody does have a tendency to engage in fence fights with other dogs in his vicinity, which may require some training and supervision to manage. Despite this challenge, his affectionate nature shines through, making him a delightful companion for the right family. We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young dog that needs our help. Stevie is the kind of pup who, once comfortable in her environment, snuggles in, loves you up and then puts her head on your shoulder breathing her warm breath. She's so sweet and so very loving and irresistible that you just can't help falling head over heels in love. This is the case unless a dog like Stevie is wandering terrifying city streets or is scheduled for euthanasia in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space, Farfel's Rescue received a plea from Rescued Pets Movement in Texas to save the life of Stevie, an 8 month old, 30 lb Collie / Cattle Dog mix that is nothing but pure love! (Estimated to be about 36 lbs full grown). Shelter personnel fell in love with this pup's sweet energy and desire to please all those that are kind to her. We responded almost immediately that we'd be more than happy to accept precious Stevie into Farfel's Rescue. Stevie is such a perfect size and weight to be able to accompany her family just about everywhere a smaller-sized dog is welcome. This sweetie-pie will fit right in due to her great temperament and desire to please. Stevie is already starting to understand that kind and cooperative behavior makes great things happen in life. Our dream for this cuddly pup is a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes her for life. As Stevie becomes comfortable in her forever home, she will blossom and become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more she will shine with her accomplishments. Toffee is a well rounded and playful puppy who plays well with others and ignores our cat. This little tyke is 10 pounds and 11 weeks old (understand this is less than 80 days!). Toffee was a stray on the Navajo Nation so nothing is known about his parentage. Foster parents guess him to be a mix of Collie, Aussie Shepherd and Husky. His paws are not big, but he is think and fuzzy, so betting he will be at least 60 pounds. Toffee loves batting with his paws and sometimes prances with his front legs like a show horse. We captured a picture of this below. Right now, he does not exhibit loving the cold, but would be surprised if he does not love the snow later when he is not so small. Right now he much prefers to be cuddled on the sofa and also loves taking his toy and hiding under the sofa in order to watch all the comings and goings in his busy foster home (he will be too big to fit under there soon)! Toffee is spayed, chipped, fully vaccinated and does well using pee pads. Puppies can typically hold pee for one hour for every month, so 3 hours should be the max expectation for a 11 week old (not quite 3 months old) puppy. Tulip is going to be an amazing family dog! She is a gentle girl whose breeds deceive the incredibly mellow disposition that she actually has. Little Tulip came down with us and was quite shy. She got over that at the foster home, and now loves to play with the other dogs in the house and enjoys getting pets, though she is still a bit shy outside of the home. She is going to be a snuggler who follows your every command and loves you every day. She is gentle and goofy and is crate trained and house trained. We are working on her walking on a leash, but for now she feels most comfortable simply in the back yard. Tulip enjoys children almost more than anything; in fact, children are one thing that gets her tail wagging quickly, and feeling safe in a home. She does play and run, and is fine letting other dogs know when she wants the toy or is done playing, and then just chills out and is thrilled getting loved in a home. As she has been growing, she is getting long and lean, as seen in her new pics. She would love to be your partner and sleep on your feet all day long after a walk or excursion!

Summit is a bundle of happy energy! He loves everyone and has almost no fear! He is a healthy, happy, energizer bunny who loves living with people and other dogs, learns quickly, and introduces himself easily. He enjoys going for walks, and is already walking well on a leash, eating as much food as he can get, and sleeping on his people. We cannot quite figure out exactly what he is mixed with, but we do think he will be on the smaller side. He is quickly picking up on house training and loves getting praise and being held. He is very food motivated, so training is going well. He will need meaningful exercise and brain games, and that will be very important to keep him motivated and happy, but he will be an amazing partner in adventure!
