Story
Good day. MARLY dog comin' at ya. Here is some info about me:Breed: Smooth Coated Collie/Anatolian Shepherd mixAge: 5 monthsGender: MaleWeight: 9 kgCountry of origin: Middle EastHighlights: loyal, relaxed, eager to please, learn & train, calm, cuddly, Funny, playful
Handsome, debonair gentleman seeks gentle, patient partner(s) with which to share life's dreams.Life wasn't very nice before. I was kicked in the streets, and... they cut part of my tail off. It hurt a lot. A kind lady found me! She took me in and gave me food and a warm place to sleep. Now I'm in a foster home, and it's so much better. My foster mom is very patient with me. I'm just a puppy after all and will need time & understanding to adjust.I'm still a little scared of sudden movements and loud noises, but I'm learning that not all humans are bad. I'm learning to play and to trust. I really, really want a forever home.Hoping there are lots of love and cuddles in my future home. I promise to give you all my love in return.Look forward to the wonderful adventures and memories I will make with my new family. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way; your love and care have given me a new lease on life. Or is that a new leeash on life. Hahaa. See, I'm a regular comedy dog.Being a playful youngster, I play hard and sleep hard right now. I'm merely a baby yet. I will need regular exersize, since I've likely collie in me and like many Anatolians, as I mature, I'll be kind of a couch potato, unless there is reason to be alert and during our outing times. I'm a 3 C dog though - Calm, Cuddly and Confident. Maybe I should be called 3CPO. Light saber in hand, this intrepid pup fights against the storm trooper oppressors. Oh, sorry... daydreaming.Being just a pup with little reaction to the cat I saw, good chance I can live with one. Also, highly likely given my puppy status that kids are fine too.I await your call to come. I'm everything an adopter could possibly want in a puppy package.

Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.
Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.
The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live.
While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs.
