Hello, I'm Siren! I'm just a little pup, but I've got a big heart. I love to play and my favorite game is fetch. I'm gentle, so I promise not to chew on your shoes. I'm also quite the cuddler, I can't wait to snuggle up with you after a long day. I'm friendly too, I love meeting new people and making friends. I've been told I'm sweet, I think it's because I'm always wagging my tail and giving puppy kisses. I'm ready to find my forever home. Adopting me means a lifetime of love, fun, and tail wags! If you want me to join your family, please fill out an application at www.goofyfootrescue.org I'm ready!!!!

Story
Lainey is the BEST momma dog we’ve had! This 33.4 lb sweet girl is amazing. Lainey and her puppies (who also are available for adoption – the B litter!) are some of the lucky ones – a good Samaritan saw her - a mangy, starving dog eating scrap someone threw out in a back corner of a Mexican restaurant by a dumpster. The lady couldn’t turn away. The good Samaritan was going to just help mom, when she realized mom looks to have just had puppies. It’s like the momma dog knew someone was there to help, and she turned away from the scrap food and started walking down the street. The good Samaritan followed this momma dog for almost 2 miles to a home, where when they walked up, 7 puppies came running out from under the house (see video!) The homeowner didn’t claim mom or puppies, nor did she want anything to do with them. She refused to feed them or offer them shelter. It took some time, but after a few days, we were able to get all 7 pups and mom to safety. The vet estimates she is about 2 years old; she is fully grown at 33 lbs and she is ready for adoption! We estimate Lainey is a cocker spaniel mix – She has longer, beautiful hair. Fluffy ears and a fluffy-ish tail. Her hair does seem to be a bit wirey mixed with fluffy. While she is beautiful, her personality speaks volumes for her (and her puppies!) Lainey is VERY friendly and well socialized. She loves everyone she meets! She will make the world’s worst guard dog, but the world’s best momma dog and loyal companion. She loves other dogs; she loves taking care of her puppies and she can eat right along with cats with no issues. Lainey is quite calm and just goes with the flow. She is more of a follower than a leader. When she hangs out with the foster’s dogs, she just more sits back and watches them, she doesn’t bother them. Lainey LOVES attention from her people and loves to be petted. She is a people pleaser. When her and her pups are fed together, she lets them eat first before she eats. She does not get annoyed with them when they jump on her or bother her. She truly is such an easy-going girl. She can be vocal and talk to you. Not barky, more just talking to her puppies and when you talk to her, she will talk back. Lainey loves to explore and is very curious. She is learning commands pretty quickly and is obedient. With one-on-one attention and a home of her own, we know she will thrive. If you’re looking for a wonderful adult doggy who will be your best friend, please consider adopting Lainey. She would be wonderful with children, other dogs and cats. There is nothing bad the foster can say about this amazing girl. To apply to adopt: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Meet Magic, an ~8 year old neutered male cocker spaniel mix. Magic was in bad shape when he was taken into rescue, but with some time and love, he has really blossomed. This senior boy is blind and does not hear very well, but he has plenty of life left in him. He is now ready to find a furever home to live out the rest of his days. Magic is a sweet old man who is good with other dogs and people. Due to his age and blindness, we recommend older kids 8+ who know to respect a dog's space. He is an easy, low maintenance dog who sleeps a lot and really doesn't require much.  He is medically up to date and is housebroken with a dog door. Apply to meet this sweet senior gentleman today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2237359##

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/14/24 Josie is a 10 month old cocker spaniel mix. She is the sweetest, most fun loving girl who is great with everyone she meets. She is currently in a home with children (newborn to preschool), cats and other dogs, and she is great with all of them! Josie was part of an accidental litter. When the owners couldn't find her a home they dumped her on a family member, and that is who has her now, but can't keep her. She is mostly kept outdoors but is allowed inside too. She is not quite housetrained yet, but is working on it. It's hard with multiple pets, a newborn baby, and toddler/preschool kids. It's a busy household which makes it difficult to watch her for cues that she needs out to potty. In a home of her own, with a little focused attention, she will learn. Josie and her brother Jax have so much love to offer a family. They just need to find someone to give them a chance! She does a very minor cherry eye (prolapsed tear duct) in one eye. It is not bad enough to need surgery and does not interfere with her vision. There is no treatment needed at this time. Please see the last photo. :Josie is fully vetted and ready to go to a new home now!  *We have more pictures of her on our Facebook or you can email us and we can send more. This site only allows to put 4 pictures. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
Meet Meenie, a 4 month old lively puppy full of charm and charisma. Her spirit is contagious, spreading joy wherever she goes. Meenie's sweet nature makes her a friend to all. She has a knack for making even the gloomiest days bright with her funny antics. She loves to play, her favourite game being a good old fetch. But don't be fooled, Meenie is not all play. She's a quick learner, always eager to please. With a heart as big as her personality, Meenie is ready to bring boundless love to her forever home. Why adopt Meenie? She's more than just a pet, she's a loyal companion, a source of laughter, and a beacon of happiness. Adopt Meenie and let her fill your life with love and joy. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
