Story
DOB 12-28-2024 Fuzzy, happy and sweet. This gorgeous little girl is ready for her home and family. Up to date on shots and medical for her age. Colette is social, loves to play and gets along with everyone. Adoption fee is 750.00, transport fee is 165.00. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Meet Buddy, a super cute 5 year old neutered male Cocker Spaniel/beagle mix, weighing about 30 lbs! Buddy is a very sweet boy who is good with other dogs, dog savvy cats, people, and kids. He is housebroken and crate trained. A 100% good doggo! Apply to meet this handsome guy today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2296712##

Story
Clover (Buddy) is a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel/Shi tzu mix who needs a new forever home! He also responds to the name “Buddy”.Clover just loves a nice long walk with a person he loves. He is a curious boy and enjoys sightseeing during his walks.Clover attaches quickly to one person and is fearful of those he doesn’t know. He has shown some protectiveness over his previous owner. We recommend he be the only pet in the home.Clover lights up when it’s time to play! He has a blast playing with his toys and can be protective of them as well. A potential adopter would need to visit several times in order to win his trust and get to know him. This pup has so much potential if given the time and patience that he needs. An adopter would need to commit to working with a trainer as needed to help him build his confidence and learn to trust others. Due to his special needs, we are only seeking a local adopter who lives in a single family home.Clover is neutered, microchipped, heart worm free, approximately 30 pounds, and up to date on all vaccines. If you’d like to meet this handsome boy, please email adopt@bobbicares.org to arrange a visit appointment. All of our adoptions are local only.
