FosterClyde is a dental school drop out with a smile that will melt your heart. He is a super sweet, shy gentleman that will make a very loyal companion! He is quiet and loves his naps with a fuzzy blankie. Clyde mostly keeps to himself and loves a rawhide or bone to chew on and lots of belly rubs and scratchies! He is good with other dogs, house and crate trained and is approximately 6 years old and weighs 12 pounds.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Odie is a sweet 9-year-old, 16-pound Chiweenie who is looking for a loving home after the passing of his owner. This gentle senior is house trained, affectionate, and gets along well with both dogs and cats. He has settled beautifully into his foster home but can be a bit grumpy with puppies—like a lovable old man telling them to “get off his lawn!”Odie would make an amazing companion for a senior, as he loves nothing more than snuggling on the sofa. He has a healthy appetite and wags his tail happily at mealtimes. Odie would thrive as either an only dog or in a home with other senior dogs. While he can sleep in a crate, he much prefers to cuddle up with his person in a cozy bed.
