Story
King 2 year old, neutered male, 14 lbs Chihuahua mix    PERSONALITY TRAITS: King is a high energy jumping bean! He can jump right into your arms, and loves to run, jump, and hug you! He wakes up full of energy in the morning, and settles down towards evening. He's a good boy who will chew a bone quietly, or roughhouse with resident dogs. And look at those satellite ears, they’re so adorable! KING loves pets and belly rubs, and will kiss, hug, and snuggle you in return.    LIKES: Bones, ropes, and especially balls. Loves burying himself in blankets, and cuddling.    DISLIKES: Being outside alone.    POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Work in progress but doing great with treat motivation.    CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Whines initially but settles down. He will get agitated if he can see you or other pets, and does better in isolation.    EXTRAS/MISC.: KING has been great with older kids (7+) and teens and is not recommended for younger children due to jumping and energy. He is happy to be a lap dog or play with other dogs of any size (even 85+ lbs dogs). He’s not intimidated at all! He can be a little guarded about sharing food and treats, and does best when eats alone. Will sleep in crate, but much prefers under the covers at the end of your bed. He would benefit from obedience training to help him control his body in exciting situations a bit more.   To further inquire about KING, submit an online application via our website.  https://wigglytails.org    Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how KING will mesh with your lifestyle.
