Are you looking for a four-legged BFF?? A pooch who's totally in her "Happy Place" just being by your side?? A buddy to go on leisurely walks with and then snuggle up on the couch with?? If so, then I AM YOUR GIRL!! My name is Calla, my nickname is "Cutie Pie". I'm a Chihuahua weighing just 8lbs & standing a mere 12" at my shoulders. I'm 11-years young with TONS of LOVE to give! I'm not a complicated lady …..I'm searching for someone special to spend my future years with. A loving, kind & gentle human(s) who will keep me safe and love me to BITS! A quiet home with no other pets b/c truly, I don't want to share my person/people. I can be okay meeting other dogs, but growl at them. I haven't been around children ~ older kids might be okay but perhaps an adult only home is best. I love being outside and enjoy going for walks. I'm well-mannered on leash. I have access to my kennel at all times and, I like it that way ( the door is always open). I have my own room at my foster's home with my kennel, dishes and even a pee pad in case of an emergency. However, as long as I'm taken out at regular intervals, I am Golden! I don't mind going outside to do my business, I just need my person to set a fairly frequent schedule. I don't play with toys ~ "been there, done that". I'd much rather be where you are collecting as many pets & cuddles as possible! I'm in retirement mode so I do enjoy napping throughout the day. When I'm not napping, I can be found next to you ~ hopefully, cuddling!! When I do feel a bit frisky, I can be coaxed into doing a little "doggie dance" for you which will certainly make you smile! Are you an action movie buff?? If so, then you will likely remember Charles Bronson 😍 and, you will then, no doubt, see the resemblance. The handsomeness and fit physique. 👍 My name is Bronson and I am a 7-year old Chihuahua mix weighing in at a perfect 17 lbs. I'm a fun-loving boy who is always ready to play fetch and go for walks. You should see me run when I get the zoomies…… there's no catching me! And I love getting onto my back and squirming around (an ideal opportunity for you to give me belly scratches!). Oh yeah, I should also tell you that I am a clothes thief, so you'll have to remember not to leave any laying around and make sure the clothes hamper is out of reach😂😁 I love being with my people and I am happiest when we are together. Whether that is snuggling, playing, out for a walk or a car ride. Although I would prefer not to go into my kennel, I am good at going in as long as you offer a treat. I am very quiet and calm and settle easily. I am house trained, and love having a fenced yard to explore and yes, to mark my territory and let everyone know this is mine!!! I will do best in a home with no children, the small humans freak me out and make me super nervous. I have been in a foster home with an indoor cat and we got along just fine. Mostly we just ignored each other. I am OK with small dogs , when I am not on a leash and when I am in my own home. When out on walks, I tend to be vocal to other dogs and humans. I am a very smart boy and since arriving, I have learned a lot. I am learning some basic commands and catch on pretty darn quick! I am anxious to learn and to please my people 🐶🥇 I'm looking for a forever family who will be patient , and have the desire to help me become an even better pup than I already am. Someone with experience who can teach me that I don't have to be so territorial over everything. To show me that people are good and that I don't need to be fearful and protective . Meet Chavo! 🐾 A 1-year-old Chihuahua mix with ears almost as big as his personality! Lovingly known as "Chavee pupper doodle bug" in his foster home - this little guys stands at around 11 inches tall. Though he may be small, he's packed with loads of charm. Chavo is a professional cuddler and loves to snuggle with his people. He's got a playful side too—watch out for his shoe-collecting habits! If he finds one of your shoes, he'll carefully "rescue" it and add it to his collection. And if you laugh around him he's quick to repeat antics that made you laugh in the first place! Chavo's also a zoomie champion, doing laps around the house or yard especially when cheered on by his foster mom. While Chavo's mostly house-trained and knows commands like "come," "sit," and "drop it," he's still getting the hang of meeting new people and other dogs. He's cautious but improving with each walk. Chavo's kennel-trained, though he prefers being close to his people, so he's content in his kennel when it's in the bedroom. This little guy isn't picky about toys—he loves a good rope to chew on and adores his little teddy bear. Chavo's not a fan of water (or his fruits and veggies), so his foster has a clever trick: adding warm water to his kibble, which he happily laps up. Chavo hasn't been tested with other dogs, cats, or children yet, so his compatibility is unknown. But if you're looking for a loyal, quirky, and endlessly entertaining companion, Chavo might just be your perfect match!
