Story
Rosie is full of personality. Rosie lived with a 3 yr old child and was unflappable. When taken into stores she loves the attention of young children and is very gentle with them. Rosie loves walks and car rides. She is non confrontational with other dogs and fine with cats. She has her “ blanket” which is wraps herself up in like a burrito. She will sing with you, she will sit up on her legs to get your attention. She is very sweet and affectionate and will sleep in bed with you if you let her. She is up to date on rabies and had a recent heartworm test( neg). She is microchipped. Her health is great and she has no health issues. She can go up and down stairs with easy and is quite athletic. Her adoption includes a brand new coat, harness, leash and collar and her transport up from the panhandle of Fla. A perfection adoption for her would be a “young” senior couple who are active and can take her for walks and grandchildren for her to play with is a plus. Sky is a sweet loving little dog. She gets along with most dogs but has a big attitude when she first sees them. She is very active. She can be somewhat vocal.  She's not great with cats, though. We are still getting to know each other and we're teaching Sky some basic commands and we're working on crate training  Sky was surrendered at the shelter when her owner was moving.  Breed:  Chihuahua Gender: Female Approx. For more information about Pinkie, please get in touch with Kristin.calkins@lostdogrescue.org Pinkie is a sweet girl who has settled in well in her foster home. She's overcome a not so great past and is learning that dog beds are comfy, chicken is amazing, and humans aren't scary. She will do her business every time you take her outside and is hitting the potty pads with relative frequency inside. She lights up in a backyard sniffing and exploring the world. She's not leash trained but is comfortable being carried and put down to do her business, she'll take you where she needs to go! Pinkie gets along well with other dogs and would love a friend her size to learn from, but would also do well as an only pup. Her hope this Christmas is a forever home where there are blankets, toys, and scritches a plenty.
