Hi, I’m Trixie. I am a Chihuahua/Dachshund/Poodle mix. I have a unique story to tell. You see, I’m a puppy who had puppies! I’m probably not more than a year old and I weigh 10 pounds. I came into rescue pregnant, and the day after Christmas, I had four beautiful puppies. I was a great mom, and now the pups are ready to find their own homes. I have made amazing progress in my foster home, and I’m still learning about the world. My ideal forever home would be an understanding family with another friendly dog for me to look up to and learn from, and a safe yard to play in. My adoption fee is $300, and I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Meet ten-week-old Snow, Frosty, and Button. They are Chi-weenies. That’s a Chihuahua and Dachshund with a little bit of poodle all in sweet and tiny packages. Their mom, Trixie, was full-term when a M.A.I.N. volunteer saw that Trixie’s pups were about to be aborted at one of the AZ shelters. The volunteer claimed a very pregnant Trixie and she delivered puppies five days later, at 4:30 in the morning with two volunteers by her side. Trixie had four puppies. Two black and two white. Snow is the tan pup and is a female, Button is the tri-colored and female, and Frosty is light, white and is a boy. The pups were born on December 26, 2024. They have been neutered/spayed. They have a microchip and their shots including Bordetella. At six months of age, they will need their rabies shot also. The puppy’s adoption fee is $500 and goes directly to M.A.I.N. Hello, kind human. My name is Oliver and I am a 9 year old 22lb ChiWeenie. That’s a mix between a Dachshund and a Chihuahua, in case you didn’t know. I was in a crowded pound and struggling with all the chaos when Forever Loved scooped me up and brought me in to their care. I am in a foster home where I’ve really blossomed, and I’m really hoping that my turn to capture your heart is NOW. Here’s some things I love - car rides, golf cart rides, snuggling with my special human, and going for walks!! When I have an established routine, I am a calm and quiet, reliably house trained dog. Here are some things that are still kind of scary to me - men and strangers who pay too much attention to me. I like to take things slow and easy, and if men and strangers just ignore me and give me time, I am just fine! (I prefer to keep my distance and approach when I feel comfortable.) I am good with other dogs, but puppy energy can be annoying! I’ve ignored cats so far and the shelter folks think I would be ok with respectful children who won’t chase me or try to grab at me. Bear is a sweet girl, called Bear because she was the biggest one at birth, but now they are all pretty much the same size lol. She loves toys and playing with the other dogs. She is a bit timid, when 2 of the boys came home with cones because of getting neutered she was terrified of them for the first few hours. After some comforting and sitting on my lap for awhile she calmed down. But she was very afraid. She also was afraid of a large cat that a friend owns, cried and ran away and hid. She knows how to use the doggie door but is only partially housetrained. She loves to snuggle and loves squirts of whipped cream. Shes been good with all the kids that have been in and out of our home.

Story
Bruce is a lover for sure. I am waiving the adoption fee because I would really like to see him go to a loving home and not have to worry about rather or not someone will rescue him from a shelter. He is a great lap dog and is very loving and friendly. Bruce gets along great with everyone cats, dogs, children,adults,everyone. If I had the time to give him the attention he deserves I would not be in this position. He really is a good boy and needs and deserves someone that will love him and be there.
