Hello there! My name is Pumpkin and I was found by a Good Samaritan wandering around downtown. The finder tried very hard to find my family, but truth be told, I’m happy I found my way to Forever Loved! They’ve done my spay, vaccines, and my bloodwork turned out perfect. I’m a healthy 12 lb Chi-weenie mix of only 3-4 years old. I’m a bit “young” for the dogs Forever Loved usually takes in, but I’m a lucky doggy that was found by a Forever Loved Foster, so I got to sneak below the “radar.” I am affectionate, sweet, cuddly, and as you can see in my photos, I don’t mind being dressed up. I am good with other dogs, and really good with children of all ages. I easily meet new people when my “safe and beloved” human is near, but can be a bit timid without you. It only takes me a short while to warm up and trust. I didn’t know how to walk on a leash, but I’m learning, and I’m also learning to enjoy the walk. I met a cat and chased it, but when a cat approached me, I got really nervous! I’m getting really good at house training and have shown that I prefer to go on grass or turf. Because I was left to wander and no owner came looking, I can sometimes display some separation distress. Best to leave me crated when you can’t be there, but please, don’t crate me for hours on end! The kind folks at Forever Loved said they can help you with any of these issues, so don’t let that stop you from coming to meet me. My foster really thinks I’m going to make someone very happy! Bear is a sweet girl, called Bear because she was the biggest one at birth, but now they are all pretty much the same size lol. She loves toys and playing with the other dogs. She is a bit timid, when 2 of the boys came home with cones because of getting neutered she was terrified of them for the first few hours. After some comforting and sitting on my lap for awhile she calmed down. But she was very afraid. She also was afraid of a large cat that a friend owns, cried and ran away and hid. She knows how to use the doggie door but is only partially housetrained. She loves to snuggle and loves squirts of whipped cream. Shes been good with all the kids that have been in and out of our home.

AJ came from a hoarding situation and his owner was planning on taking him and his siblings to the humane society. Since they are so full and putting down so many dogs we agreed to take them in and find them homes. He knows how to use the doggie door, and is only partially housetrained. He has been neutered but only has his rabies vaccine. He loves to play with toys and other dogs. He's been good with the kids that have been in and out of our home. He likes to snuggle, and loves squirts of whipped cream. Would love to have him go to someone that can spend time with him. He is a lover.
