Story
My fiancé and I adopted Drax from a family member that was no longer able to care for him. Drax was with his past owner all the time, and as a result, he has some separation anxiety. He is crate trained, and is used to a dog door. But when we leave him for 4+ hours outside of crate he will pee because of the separation anxiety. We are not home all of the time and we feel sorry for Drax because he gets nervous when left alone. As much as this hurts our hearts, we would like to find Drax a new home where his new owners are home a majority of the time. A couple who is retired would be perfect for him. He loves to cuddle under blankets, play with toys, and go for walks. He has gotten along with our two dogs very well. He travels well and he would love to tag along any adventures. Although he looks old, he is only about 5 years old. We laugh because he gets more grey hairs by the day. We want him to be loved and happy to disclose more information. He is an old soul!

Story
Dracula is a small, furry, high energy, vocal, lover boy. He turns 4 on April 15th and is looking for his forever home. He may take some time to warm up to new people but once he does he will be your shadow! he loves to run, cuddle, and play hide and seek. He is house broken and crate trained. He is looking for an energetic early bird who doesnt mind being woken up bright and early every day and loves to go on daily walks and play tag. Due to his recall and socialization needs, Dracula should not be off leash in public spaces or dog parks. He will need a private, fenced yard for safe play. He is not very interested in befriending or sharing space with other dogs or children, so make sure you are prepared to love an attention hogging only child fur baby for life.

Story
Meet ten-week-old Snow. She is Chi-weenies. That’s a Chihuahua and Dachshund with a little bit of poodle all in sweet and tiny packages. Her mom, Trixie, was full-term when a M.A.I.N. volunteer saw that Trixie’s pups were about to be aborted at one of the AZ shelters. The volunteer claimed a very pregnant Trixie and she delivered puppies five days later, at 4:30 in the morning with two volunteers by her side. Trixie had four puppies. Two black and two white. Button is tri-colored and female. The pups were born on December 26, 2024. They have been neutered/spayed. They have a microchip and their shots including Bordetella. At six months of age, they will need their rabies shot also. The puppy’s adoption fee is $500 and goes directly to M.A.I.N. If you have any questions, email medicalanimalsinneed@gmail.com.
