Story
Meet Amaya! A curious and independent girl who enjoys exploring her surroundings at her own pace. While she may not seek out attention right away, she is super friendly once engaged and is tolerant of handling. Amaya can be selective about her dog friends and is currently looking for an adult-only home where she can take her time settling in and adjusting to home life again. With patience and understanding, Amaya is sure to flourish into a loving and loyal companion. Eligible for rescue and adoption. Meet Amaya at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Videos: Amaya and Allie meet: https://youtube.com/shorts/HXj1XDwxTBc?feature=share Amaya and Marz meet: https://youtube.com/shorts/VG0MTuGVkPk?feature=share 02/14/2025 staff notes: KENNEL PRESENTATION: Amaya was a neutral body and wouldn't allow overhead leashing while she continued to sniff it. She was good at leash dodging and began shaking it off. The handler had to lasso her and once secured came right out. LEASH SKILLS: Pulls moderately HANDLING : In the room, Amaya was neutral with a mid level tail and an open mouth. She sniffed around curiously and didn't pay much attention to the handlers. She was super friendly when we did get her to interact with us. She did not take any treats nor showed knowledge of tricks. She was tolerant of all handling and tried to move away while we attempted to touch her feet but remained neutral. Story
Kuma is a playful , loving , beautiful young Akita She will be one on 8.29.2024. I have had her since she was five months and got her from someone who had to many puppies. Kuma is neutered. All medical records that I have will be provided. She loves to play and should have a large space to run around. Kuma is highly active and when bored can be destructive. Kuma like walks and has a high prey drive. She does not do well with cats. I think she can be accustomed to being with another animals but would do best with being in a home by herself. I have been working on potty training and I think that my being at work all day is effecting her natural schedule. She is not crate trained. Kuma is very vocal. Kuma likes to cuddle. Kuma loves to give kisses. Kuma loves water. Kuma has Coprophagia : she eats her own poop out of boredom/hunger while I am away at work. Kuma pees ALOT. Kuma needs 24/7 attention. Someone who works from home Kuma gets car sick after 5 mins.

Story
Gizmo is a big goofball of love! This boy will be 105 lbs when filled in. He’s crate trained. Gizmo loves all people, running in the backyard and taking long walks! He’s independent hanging out on porch and plays with toys by himself. At the same time he loves to be right next to you for pets and hugs! He is a big fan of playing with squeaky toys, footballs and flirt poles. Gizmo is working on house training. He is extremely smart and a quick learner knowing all his basic commands! Gizmo has had several positive meet and greets with other dogs, and enjoys walking with friends! However, we are still working on decreasing some dog-reactivity specifically with large breed males. Females are unknown. Due to Gizmo’s puppy energy when he plays, we are recommending an adult-only home-- his tail is large and always wagging and might accidentally knock into someone! He is sensitive to high energy environment needs and requires a 6ft fence. Large breed handler is a must.
