Story
Guapo (fka Creed) originally came to Lily’s almost a year ago exactly as a stray from Contra Costa. He wasn’t with us long and found a home with a wonderful human who owned a doggie daycare where Guapo got to play everyday! Sadly, his owner died suddenly and Guapo found himself back at Lily’s. Luckily, our wonderful fosters at Play Dog Play heard about Guapo’s situation and offered to foster him, which is a familiar setting for Guapo. Guapo is a big friendly giant. He likes lazy mornings, lounging in the morning and getting in some more active play in the afternoon. His fosters say he is very gentle and has been getting settled in nicely.

Though he was initially a bit timid in the kennel, once leashed, he becomes more relaxed and enjoys staying close, seeking attention. Mac is easy to leash and walks at a moderate pace, often trotting alongside you without pulling or jumping. He’s not overly interested in food or toys but loves affection, often returning for more cuddles after running around the yard. He enjoys being brushed and gets along well with other dogs, playing briefly before coming back for love. Mac is a friendly companion looking for a home where he can continue to build confidence and feel safe and cherished.  For more information about this animal, call:Sonoma County Animal Services at (707) 565-71001247 Century Court, Santa Rosa Tuesday - Saturday12:00 - 5:00 p.m.Adoptions are processed until 4:30 p.m.January 15, 2025, 2:05 am
