Kazuki is a young and energetic Husky X Akita mix. She is a brave, playful, and smart puppy who is very friendly and funny. She's an affectionate dog who loves to be around people and gets along with other dogs, too. Kazuki has now been tested with cats and she did VERY well!! Kazuki is an athletic dog who would make a great companion for long walks, runs, and hikes. She would be the perfect addition to an active household. If you're looking for a loyal and loving furry friend, come meet Kazuki! City of Vancouver Animal Services' Foster-to-Adopt program is a great way to welcome Kazuki into your home. As a foster, you can enjoy the benefits of having a new furry friend while also taking the time to see if she is the right fit for your family. Story
Meet this adorable Heinz 57 (mystery number of breeds), Ciara!A stunning puppy with a classic black and white coat! Full of energy and curiosity, she's just beginning to explore the world around her. With her striking appearance and affectionate personality, she's sure to grow into a loyal and loving companion. She is mostly house trained already and is learning her basic commands. She loves to sniff on her walks and only pulls slightly. She is a bit nervous of her new surroundings here in Vancouver so making her feel safe and confident will be important. She's playful, social, and loves attention, making her a great fit for an active household or an individual who is ready to provide her with training, structure, and lots of love. At this age, she's still learning the basics, so early socialization and training will be key to helping her become a well-rounded adult. Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. Story
Hello! My name is Yobi and I’m a 2-year-old male Husky weighing 20 kg (44 lbs). With my stunning Husky looks and playful personality, I’m sure to steal your heart! I’m full of love and affection, always ready to show off my playful and charming side. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy making new friends, both furry and human. When I see people come and go, I sometimes let out a signature Husky howl to say, “Don’t forget about me!” I’m energetic and love outdoor adventures. While I can pull a bit on the leash during walks, I calm down quickly and walk nicely once I’ve burned off some of my excitement. I’m also very food-motivated and will happily accept treats from anyone, making it easy to become fast friends. Because I’m a true Husky at heart, I’d love to be adopted by someone familiar with the breed and its unique traits. My high energy and lively personality are part of my charm, but I need someone who can keep up with me and understand my needs. I love to play and often express my desire for attention with high energy, but that’s just my way of saying, “Let’s have fun together!” Above all, I crave love and connection with my humans and promise to be a loyal, affectionate companion. Are you ready to share your life with a fun, energetic, and lovable Husky? I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!
