Story
Meet Miley! Miley is a sweet and adorable 4-year-old Dachshund mix with a gentle heart and a loving personality. She absolutely adores people and gets along well with other dogs. She’s still learning what it means to be part of a fully loving family, so she’ll do best with patient humans who are willing to help her build confidence and show her how good life can be. Miley does wonderfully in a crate — she’s quiet and sleeps comfortably as long as her people are nearby. When left alone, she may bark a bit, but she’s making progress as she settles in. She’s also working on potty training and truly trying her best. She’s gentle with both people and dogs, but don’t be fooled — Miley loves to have fun! She enjoys walks and does great on leash. She does have a prey drive, so a home without cats (or with very cat-savvy owners) would be best. Miley is a loving, playful girl who just needs the right family to help her continue to blossom. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s sure to thrive. Story
Lola loves people. And cats. Chasing her ball, belly rubs and naps make up the bulk of her day. Lola is housebroken but also uses pads, especially when it’s cold or rainy. She loves her food and is not a picky eater. Lola really has no bad habits. Because of her short nose, she snores but it is rather cute. Lola is not much of a barker so could do well in an apartment or condo. Being picked up is not one of her favorite things but doesn’t’ struggle when held. (I clip her nails while I’m holding her without a problem). Lola would do best with children 10 years of age or older.

Story
Maya is friendly happy gal who can been seen charging her solar powered tail wagger on sunny days or curled up in a blanket when the weather calls for it. She’s a young dog, around 1 year old with a long life of love and fun to offer. Up for an adventure or play time with a friend but also has great chill and will happily cuddle for movie night. She has a beautiful little face that looks at her people with adoring eyes. On the smaller side at 17 pounds she still fits on the recliner with you but is durable enough for adventures. House and crate trained. She’ll be hanging out here with her foster waiting for her forever family.Apply at Rescuegang.orgDATCP#483538

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! Updated: 5/7/26 Dog Name: Plum Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Chihuahua Mix Birthdate: 3/22/2026 Litter Name: Fruits Litter Approximate Weight: 4.5 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Not yet (too young) Adoption Fee: $550 Description: Plum, her sister Cherry, and mother Peaches came up from Texas in April. Apricot is believed to be Peaches sister, and she had two puppies Nectarine and Mango that all made the trip to WI too!  For it to be safe for her to go home with an adopter, she needs to stay where she is until 5/24 when she gets her second DHPP vaccination. After the 24th, she's free to go into the home of her future family to start her 5-day trial! Plum is an outgoing pup! She loves to play, people, other dogs, and is very interested in her toys!!     We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. May 15, 2026, 6:16 pm
