We've all heard the song Bad Bad Leroy Brown. It's probably playing in your head now (sorry!). Well, we are here to introduce Small, Small Leroy Brown. It's not as catchy, but we think you'll agree he's pretty great, and definitely NOT meaner than a junkyard dog. This delightful young pup is about 8 months old and should weigh about 20 lbs when he's done growing. Leroy is crate trained and working hard at remembering we go potty outside! He loves running around in his yard and going on long walks. He has a great time playing with dogs and would love to have a dog friend to live with. Leroy's perfect family will have lots of energy to keep up with his puppy parties, have lots of toys and bones to play with and no small children. I was rescued from a hoarding situation where I shared a home with 94, yes 94 other pups in a small house. I am so grateful for all the small things that other dogs take for granted...a soft bed, kind words, gentle pets, tasty treats. I am your typical chihuahua as in I love being on your lap. I can be slightly vocal with my surroundings and don't have a problem telling you if I want something. I am crate trained but I still need some continued work in being house trained. I'm doing pretty well but will still have occasional accidents. I am very affectionate and will be your lil shadow following you wherever you go from ouside to inside and even to the bathroom. You'll never be lonely...I'll be that lil heartbeat at your feet or if you'd prefer, on your lap!! I only come in at about 7lbs, that's a pawsomely perfect size for some neighborhood strolls, mild nature trails, co-piloting your errand runs and of course being your bestest secret keeper and confidant. I have to admit that I do great with women but men scare me so my ideal home would be in a female only adult home. Maybe where you are retired or work from home so I could get in lots of lap time!! I do great with the other dogs in my foster home, although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet but I don't seem to mind the farm animals here, I'm more interested in staying by your side. I do good with people but would probably do best in a quieter adult home or with older kids (10+) that will work to continue my growth in exploring this big ole world. I am playful with the other pups closer to my own size but I like to try and be alfa with the bigger ones here at my foster home. Millie is an adorable 5 year old old chihuahua mix female. She has a beautiful white and tan coat and a sweet and playful personality. She weighs about 7 pounds. Millie is a very sweet and friendly girl who has lots of love to give. She enjoys people of all ages and loves cuddling up on any lap she finds! Millie is potty trained in her foster home and is well behaved overall. Due to a backlog of appointments, she is not yet spayed. She does have an appointment for the procedure set up at our veterinarian in early December that her adopter will be required to bring her to. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She is being fostered in Racine, WI. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
