Story
Name: Butch Age:  8 years Breed:  chi mix Gender:  Male Weight:  14 pounds Good with kids:  Probably not as he is very scared of fast movement Good with dogs:  YES! Good with cats:  Haven't introduced him to resident kitty yet... TBD Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and prior vetting paperwork.   Foster location:  Iola, wi Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html   Bio:   Meet Butch! Although this little guy isn't going to be ready for adoption for a bit while he learns to trust, he felt left out of the introduction posts.  Butch made the trip from TX with a few of his friends that were all part of a horrific hoarding case that also involved a fire. Due to this trauma, he is learning what safety means and feels like. He is slow to warm up to humans, but instant friends with canines. Due to this, it will be imperative for Butch to get a forever home with a dog who can help him feel comfortable.    Updates will be made to Butch's bio when he completely decompresses.    Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest if it isn't a good fit.  May 13, 2026, 5:27 pm

Story
Name: Cassidy  Age: 11 years Breed: chi mix Gender: male Weight: 11 lbs Good with kids: unknown Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Cassidy is the strong, (mostly) silent type! This sweet ole man is looking for a comfy bed and a home he can spend his golden years relaxing in. Having another (non-hyper) dog will help him learn the routine, and come out of his shell. Cassidy is yet another deserving soul who was saved from the 2025 fire-hoarding case. Cassidy is skittish initially, but very sweet with his humans. A little patience and a lot of love are sure to form a bond! Cassidy does enjoy being outside when the weather is nice, (and would do best with a fenced yard) but does wear a belly band indoors. Patience will be required to help him get into a routine, and if belly bands remain a part of his life- his foster can tell you where to find the cutest ones- and will even send a supply home with him. Cassidy is lacking quite a few teeth so his little tongue sticks out, but he still has some chompers in there. Wet food, and soft treats are still a favorite- but he can get the job done, regardless.  This boy definitely reminds us of someone who came from the same property, right down to getting as close as possible to the camera when you try to take his photo. This silly, scrappy senior deserves the world- and if you’d like to give him your all, there’s an app waiting for you! ❤️ Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not require you to adopt the dog of interest, if it is not a match.  May 13, 2026, 5:28 pm

Story
Name: Enzo Age: 4 Breed: chi mix Gender: male Weight: 12.5 pounds Good with kids: unknown Good with dogs: yes- would do best with another dog or dogs Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Leader of the the goof troop reporting for duty! Enzo’s life didn’t start out so fun and fancy free, but thankfully the rest of his life can be just that. Enzo was one of many chis saved from the “fire hoarding” case in 2025. If you’re a long time follower, you may remember the wonderful group we got to welcome around this time last year. A sanctuary in the area of the hoard was kind enough to step up and take a good portion of the rescued dogs. Sadly, adoptions in the area just weren’t what they should be. Most of the dogs remained in the sanctuary until early this year. Our rescue partner was able to get them into foster care, prior to sending them to Wisconsin to find their forevers! Enzo is very shy, initially- but becomes your timid shadow before long! He is VERY vocal if he cannot have company of some sort, whether human or dog- or if he cannot reach you due to a baby gate, etc. For this reason, walls shared with neighbors are a no go. He loves the company of other dogs- though his size or larger would be best. He tends to hit the gas if he is excited or spooked, and doesn’t always watch where he is going. Enzo LOVES little plush toys- and enjoys hugs from his humans once he starts to get comfortable.May 13, 2026, 5:28 pm

Story
Name: Napoleon Age: 9 years Breed: chi mix Gender: male Weight: 13 lbs Good with kids: unknown Good with dogs: yes, prefers calm dogs Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork.  Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html  Bio: When we say senior swag, this is what we mean. While this gentleman can be a bit shy, he is top notch sweet.  Napoleon found himself at a local shelter after his loving owner had to move to a senior care facility. We were honored to be asked to welcome him, and he is a lovely house guest. He enjoys the outdoors, but will occasionally lift a leg inside. In his defense, he is fostered with several other male dogs- and at times it seems to be a literal contest Napoleon is fostered with several other small dogs. He gets along with everyone well, but does grumble when the hyper dog in the house goes bolting by. Meals and high value treats such as bones should be enjoyed in his own space, but sharing a dog bed suits him just fine. While on the subject of eating, Napoleon is on a salmon based food and an allergy medication called Zenrelia. (2 months worth is priced at 75.00 on Chewy)  If you’re taking a seat, you just may find him snuggled in between you and the arm of the couch.  This quiet guy could hang in an apartment without disturbing the neighbors- and would love to go for a car ride here and there. This gentle mini- wolf is looking for company thats as exquisite as his!  Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Story
Name: Nala Spice level: ️️ Age: 2 yrs Breed: chi mix Gender: female Weight: 12 lbs Good with kids: older (respectful teens and up) would likely be best if any Good with dogs: yes, but she isn't a huge fan of sharing her space with young puppies Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Meet the spicy little weirdo of your dreams!  Nala joins us from a shelter a few hours away. She raised a bit of heck after her admission, so of course we liked what we heard! The caring shelter staff showed her love and consistency to help her break out of her shell, and we are the lucky rescue who gets to help her find her forever! Nala unfortunately experienced a false pregnancy. The shelter staff provided support, and got her through it. She had to wait an additional six weeks after arriving to be spayed, but thats all taken care of now.  Now, onto the spice. It takes Nala some time to warm up to new people, you have to go at her pace. Let her approach you. She does better meeting company at the house, than making new human friends out and about. It is however doable with patience and respect. Basically you have to like the chi breed and the mischief they bring if you are interested in Nala. She can take a moment to warm up to other dogs, especially new fosters coming in- but becomes their best friend in a short time. She is fostered with mostly seniors, but has some younger friends come through she enjoys playing with as well. She could absolutely thrive as an only dog- and is the epitome of loyal after she has had time to decompress. Nala warmed up to the lady of the house first- so whoever is home more often will likely become her first best friend. She will bark at new people entering the house, and comes in hot- but within a few minutes she is approaching for pets. She acts a bit tough initially, but quickly drops the act and cooperates with being picked up, etc Nala's transition from home to home should be smoother upon adoption, but coming out of the shelter was a major change for her. Decompression takes time, but home girl wouldn’t touch the first two meals she was offered. She didn't want to eat if she is completely alone- but was hyper focused on rejoining the other dogs. With a little work and a lot of patience, you'll get so much love. This one will be a tough one for her foster family to let go, but we know her amazing forever home is out there! Name: Gill Age: 9 years Breed: chihuahua mix Gender: male Weight: 15 ish lbs Good with kids: Not currently fostered with Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: yes Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Shawano Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Introducing Gill!! The sweetest old man with one heck of a past. This handsome fella came from a hoarding situation in TX with a few other adoptable OPARI dogs in search of a better future. While Gill has settled in and cuddled up to the resident dogs he is still a little apprehensive of people approaching but melts once he receives pets and realizes they mean no harm. Coming from a boarding case Gill does have some quirks we are working on, he currently rocks belly bands as he has shown a habit of marking, he may never grow out of this but were hopeful once he settles in and feels safe itll phase out While Gills foster family is still getting to know him he has been a champ in the kennel and other than the occasional marking, he does his business outside.
