Story
Indy is an energetic 8 year ild female who loves to cuddle and play fetch. She is a great ball dog and will play fetch until she drops. Good in the car, and will go to the bathroom on a leash with no problems. She can sleep loose and sleep in bed with you or will sleep in her kennel. She enjoys walking and hiking. She gets along with other dogs but prefers to be in a single dog household. She gets along with kids but would do best in a home without small babies/toddlers. No allergies or health issues that we are aware of.

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 11/24/24 Litter Name: You & Me Estimated Date of Birth: July 14th - July 21st Dog Name: Carter Sex: Female Spay Status: Not yer spayed Estimated Breed Mix: Chihuahua Approximate Weight: 5-8 lbs Adoption Fee: $550   Description: Carter and her brother Cash were desperately in need of a plan so that they wouldn’t end up in a high kill Texas shelter. They are sweet pups who will stay small in size, they love to be cuddled and follow their people around the house. They will make great companions!   This litter should stay 25lbs and under.  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. December 16, 2024, 12:16 am

Story
This little 9# cutie is Dakota-he is around 6 years old. Gets along fine with dogs, but does not like them to get in his face, he sort of just stays to himself. Likes women a lot but does not trust men until he gets to know them real well. Likes children that are calmer and even smaller ones. Heartworm negative and neutered. Crates really well and sleeps all night. It is his safe quiet place so will go there on his own when he wants. He is being fed wet food mixed with dry, will not just eat dry since his previous owner fed him table food. He is a sweet little lap dog for someone who likes to sit with you and also lay on the back of my couch and nap. Walks well on a leash and does fine with car rides. Will go for walks and ride in a doggie stroller. Great for baths, grooming and nails also. Gave me kisses the entire time. He is now ready to find his very own furever family. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org for this cutieThank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Story
Meet Checkers! This little guy was found as a stray in a rural Texas town, but he’s ready to trade the streets for a cozy lap! He has adorably unique black-and-white markings (hence the name!) and a heart that just wants to curl up on your lap. He’s great with people, loves a good cuddle, and can’t wait to meet his forever family! FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.

Story
Hello World I’m Maya! I am a very cute and gangly 2-yr old chihuahua mix. My foster mom describes me as the life of the party. My list of things I love is long including other dogs, toys, snacks, cuddles and most of all my family. I'm mostly house and crate trained and I try really really hard to be a well-behaved little girl and follow directions but sometimes I get so excited to be alive that I forget a silly rule here and there. When I’m at home with my people and fellow pets I shine, but when I go to new places or meet new people I can be shy and a little skittish. My foster mom says I need lots of experiences so she takes me places and slowly but surely I’m getting better but my most perfect family would be homebodies with another dog or two for me to play with. I’m great with kids and all adults and I haven’t met a dog who doesn’t love me. I’m not much of a barker when my family is with me but when they leave, neighborhood sounds can scare me and I may make some noise so I need a single family home or very tolerant neighbors. If you are looking for some fun and a few good laughs and are willing to work with me as I learn and grow, I just might be your girl.
